Impertinent Question# Forty Eight |
Will somebody please take Bush aside and explain something to him ?
(Somebody who is not a Texas oil man). Explain to him that when people enter
into an agreement to rig the price of their product or service in America,
they are committing a crime ? We do not cuddle with them. We do not play
kitchy coo. . We do not get in bed with them. We do not hold hands with
them. What we do is file a charge against them and throw their slimy asses
in jail ! Isn't it time for Bush to remind the Saudi's that when push
comes to shove and they need a friend to protect them from a radical Muslim
coup that friend might not be there unless their participation in the oil
cartel ends TODAY. Unless the price of oil drops below forty dollars a
barrel TODAY, Not in five years or five months, but Now. How long will it
take before Americans realize that the oil cartel exists because we ALLOW to
exist, it and because Bush's oil baron friends profit from ANY development
which drives up the price of oil ?. That ending the cartel is the LAST thing
the US oil barons want. ?

Unfortunately, this is the first problem you encounter. Bush has
surrounded himself with almost nothing but oil men, the
truth-challenged Sec of State notwithstanding, and Cheney's war
criminal PNAC buddies.
We do not hold hands with them.
Sorry, but I have seen the pictures. Hell they were on the net
yesterday.
Come on, these are the fucking Saudis. The US has already fought one
large scale war and supported their despotic hides for how many decades
now?
Isn't it time for Bush to remind the Saudi's that... they need a
friend to
protect them from a radical Muslim coup(s)...
And Egypt, and Jordan, and Pakistan, and Syria... Wait, aren't they
next, or aren't we sending them suspects for "extraordinary rendition,"
and isn't this just so fucking complicatedly convenient, or
conveniently complicated...
How long will it take before Americans realize that the oil cartel

Apparently too damned long for too many people. I think you are a
little closer on the latter, and completely off the mark on the former-
no one ever explained why supporting an oil dictatorship was essential
to national security. The fact that our economy is so dependent on 18th
century technology is as much by design as by default, in my opinion.
That ending the cartel is the LAST thing the US oil barons want. ?
Bush is a self described oil man. So is Cheney. Rice too. Why would
they change policy and business just because you don't like paying 2.50
or more a gallon? Dude, you're killing me.
