IMPORTANT: PASS THIS ON TO OUR MILITARY IN IRAQ! |

I just saw a Fox News report about how hot it is in Baghdad, with
a dust storm on top of it. And here were U.S. troops walking
around in the duct storm, what they described as a "fine silt",
without face coverings, breathing the stuff.
The natives of desert countries have always used face coverings
wrapped around their noses and mouths, to lower the amount of
dust that they breathe in, in that kind of environment.
PLEASE get the word to our troops over there, to cover their
mouths and noses with some kind of filter material, even if it's
just a bandana or wrap like that, because otherwise they're
breathing that stuff into their lungs and they could wind up with
future lung problems and impaired breathing, because of it!
Even if they just wrap their nose and mouth area with a cloth,
the moisture from breathing will create some filtration from that
dust.
The average person loses 50% of their lung capacity by age 50.
Don't make it worse by breathing unfiltered desert dust!
Please get the word to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan!

I had a duct storm myself just the other day .. the freaking A/C went out
and then the compressor .. it was a mess

Who says they have a choice? They're generally smarter than to drive around
in plywood humvees, too. Did 'em a lot of good.
