In Iraq Terrorists And Insurgents Killing Far More Fellow MusllimsThan Are The Americans |
Every day it seems that dozens of Muslims are blown up or assassinated
by the muhajedeen in Iraq. And the reasons for this are obvious.
Iraqi police and national guard are "soft" targets in contrast to the
well-trained, experienced and well-equipped American and British military.
Also, most of the volunteers in the Iraqi police and national guard are
Shiites and Kurds, whereas the insurgents are Sunni Muslims from Iraq
or foreign terrorists and Muslim fundamentalists from Jordan, Saudi
Arabia, Kuwait, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Chechyna, Europe etc.
In this respect, the insurgency is somewhat like
a civil war--and the Americans and British will never really be liked
by the vast majority of Shiites and Kurds because they are Westerners
and infidels.
The purpose of all this bloody terrorism and destructive sabotage is to
prevent a democratic, more Western-friendly government, like that of
Allawi's present provisional, and somewhat secular and pluralistic
government, from being elected.

pulls out before a civil government is formed it will be a *very

But then again you might think that 59,459,765 and 55,949,407 actual VOTERS
can be compared with 294, 719,604 CITIZENS.
