MUSLIMS -CAN WE COEXIST WITH THEM?

Many are calling for a new Palestinian State. "They should have
their own homeland," and "That is the only way to end the
violence," are common reasons. Nevertheless, there is an old
adage to consider here:
"Be Careful for What You Wish for, You Might Get It."
Exactly what kind of state are we talking about creating for
these Palestinians? Another slave state? Another Dictatorship?
Another medieval theocracy with an Iron collar around the
Palestinian people's throats? Another Islamic state that will
train terrorists to attack America and Israel? A state that will
invite the Iranian Army to build bases on the borders of Israel?
A state that will start to build nuclear plants on Israel's
borders?
And what will be the law of this new "Palestinian State?"
Considering perhaps the most liberal laws of any Middle Eastern
State, we need to look to Saudi Arabia's laws for some guidance
in this regard: (Note the laws of Iran as a comparison example
are much more oppressive, but I am in a liberal mood, so I
thought we would just review the laws of our ally Saudi Arabia
and see if we believe those laws should become the laws of the
new Palestinian state.)
Saudi Arabia - Consular Information Sheet Saudi Arabia - Consular
Information
Sheet
June 19, 2001
COUNTRY DESCRIPTION: Saudi Arabia is a monarchy ruled by a king
chosen from and
by members of the Al-Saud family. The king rules through royal
decrees issued in conjunction with the Council of Ministers, and
with advice from the Consultative Council. Members of both
councils are appointed by the king. Islamic law is the basis of
the authority of the monarchy and provides the foundation of the
country's conservative customs and social practices. Saudi Arabia
has a modern and well-developed infrastructure, and facilities
for travelers are widely available, although the country does not
issue visas for tourism except for approved tour groups. The
workweek in Saudi Arabia is Saturday through Wednesday.
All American citizens in Saudi Arabia should maintain a high
level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to increase their
security awareness and reduce their vulnerability. Americans
should maintain a low profile, vary routes and times for all
required travel, and treat mail and packages from unfamiliar
sources with suspicion. In addition, American citizens are urged
to avoid contact with any suspicious, unfamiliar objects, and to
report the presence of such objects to local authorities.
Vehicles should not be left unattended, if at all
possible, and should be kept locked at all times. American
citizens are urged to park their motor vehicles in protected
areas with restricted access and to inspect the vehicles before
using them, looking underneath, inside the engine compartment,
and inside the trunk. The use of flashlight for vehicle
inspections at night is recommended. Suspicious activities,
individuals, or vehicles should be reported to the U.S. Embassy
or nearest Consulate General. License numbers of vehicles and
descriptions of individuals are extremely helpful.
Doug Says: (Best advice: Hire someone to start your car each day,
and to open your mail, and to do your shopping, and, and, and . .
.. )
"CRIME: Crime is generally not a problem for travelers in Saudi
Arabia. However, private Saudi citizens who perceive that
conservative standards of conduct are not being observed by a
foreigner may harass, pursue, or assault that person. "
(Doug Says: Nothing quite like being stoned to death for wearing
stripes with plaids. Also, you had better not own a dog. Mohammad
said "Dogs are unclean" - so if you own a pet you had better lose
him, or you and poochy will be ducking some rocks.")
"The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh cautions American citizens that Saudi
Arabian police authorities have detained potential witnesses to
crimes, without charges or access to legal counsel and with
limited or delayed consular access, for months during the
investigative stage of criminal cases. On occasion, Saudi
authorities have temporarily confiscated the personal effects of
detained potential witnesses. "
(Doug Says: Sounds more like Mexico or Cuba doesn't it? No Habeas
Corpus laws in Muslim land, "dungeons, rape and torture" are the
mainstays of the Muslim penal system. Torture is legal, and is
prescribed for certain reasons, such as to get you to confess to
whatever they want you to confess to . . . )
"CUSTOMS REGULATIONS: Saudi customs authorities enforce strict
regulations
concerning importation into Saudi Arabia of such banned items as
alcohol products, weapons and any item that is held to be
contrary to the tenets of Islam. This includes non-Islamic
religious materials, pork products, and pornography. Saudi
customs and postal officials broadly define what is contrary to
Islam, and therefore prohibited. Christmas decorations, fashion
magazines, and "suggestive" videos may be confiscated and the
owner subject to penalties and fines. It is advisable to contact
the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington or one of Saudi
Arabia's consulates in the United States for specific information
regarding customs requirements. "
(Doug Says: You know that little gold cross you wear, well that
means 10 years in a Muslim dungeon! Beetles' audio tapes will get
you eight dungeon years, (both sentences come with appropriate
torture of course) and don't even think about taking those pork
rinds to a ball game - that is really asking for the rocks to
fly. A picture of Marilyn Monroe? Well that means death (slow
strangulation) and woe is your ***** if you possess a copy of
Playboy, or even some fashion magazine like Victoria's Secret"
that means you will be hung up by your thumbs and lashed to death
.. . . (( I am not kidding!)). Radical Muslims are only allowed to
read one book - now you know why they are so incredibly stupid.
"CRIMINAL PENALTIES: While in a foreign country, a U.S. citizen
is subject to that country's laws and regulations, which
sometimes differ significantly from those in the United States
and may not afford the protections available to the individual
under U.S. law. Penalties for breaking the law can be more severe
than in the United States for similar offenses."
(Doug Says: Now that is an understatement!)
"Persons violating Saudi Arabia's laws, even unknowingly, may be
expelled, arrested, imprisoned or even executed. Suspects can be
detained, without charges or legal counsel and with limited
consular access, for months during the investigative stage of
criminal cases. As
stated in Section 5 (CRIME), witnesses to possible criminal
incidents also can be detained under similar circumstances for
long periods of time. Even when released from detention,
witnesses to criminal incidents may be prohibited from leaving
the country until investigation of the incident is complete."
(Doug Says: Muslim land is the only place in the world you can be
thrown in a dungeon for life (with suitable torture of course)
just for happening to "see " a crime. ((Sergeant Shultz would do
well in Muslim land.)) I can just hear the questioning now: "Now
did you see that guy steal that Mercedes?"
"ARRRRAHHHAAATHHHHAHSHS...YES! YES! YES! "But that is the King's
Cousin, are you *sure* you saw him steal that car?"
"ARRAHAHHHSGGGSSNN NO! NO! NO!" For some reason I am certain the
witnesses in Muslim land are very good witnesses if they ever
live long enough to finally get to court . . . er, inquisition,
er, whatever they call it over there.)
"Penalties for the import, manufacture, possession, and
consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs are severe. Convicted
offenders can expect jail sentences, fines, public flogging,
and/or deportation. The penalty for drug trafficking in Saudi
Arabia is death. Saudi officials make no exceptions. Customs
inspections at ports of entry are thorough. The U.S. Embassy and
Consulates General have no standing in Saudi courts to obtain
leniency for an American convicted of alcohol or drug offenses."
(Doug Says: Drug dealing in Muslim land is definitely not a
promising nor rewarding occupation. Yet they treat the poor
***** that cranks up a tiny joint the same as a Columbian Crime
Lord. And don't even think about ordering some good Merlot with
dinner, the rocks will fly if you do!)
"Besides alcohol products and illicit drugs, Saudi Arabia also
prohibits the import, use, or possession of any item that is held
to be contrary to the tenets of Islam (see "Customs Regulations"
section above.) The private ownership of weapons is prohibited.
Imported and domestic audiovisual media and reading matter are
censored."
(Doug Says: No outside newspapers, no outside magazines, no
outside Television, no outside Radio, no outside audio tapes, no
outside music, no outside books, no talking, no hearing outside
of what the Mullahs want you to hear . . . no sharp objects, no
videos or CD's, no computers, no newsgroups, no thinking, no
excessive blank stares or drooling while watching Al Jeezera, no
connection with the outside world in any manner ...or it's to the
dungeon with you boy (including all appropriate tortures . . . of
course). No wonder they are all nuts!
"Homosexual activity is considered to be a criminal offense and
those convicted may be sentenced to lashing and/or a prison
sentence, or death."
(Doug Says: Better stay in that closet unless you are into
sadomasochism . . . to the death.)
"Saudi authorities do not permit criticism of Islam or the royal
family. The government prohibits the public practice of religions
other than Islam. Non-Muslims suspects of violating these
restrictions have been jailed."
(Doug Says: Don't even think about going to Church, knocking
Mohammad, questioning "anything" found in the Koran, nor complain
about the King. It is off to the dungeon if you do . . . with all
appropriate tortures . . . of course. I wonder what would happen
to all those TP's that post here knocking America if they lived
in one of those Muslim states (they are promoting) and were
knocking the King, Mullah, Potentate? What fun they would have
trying to talk the big oaf "Abdul the Knife" chief torturer into
understanding they have the right of free speech: ARRRGGAHHHH OK
OK so the King is never wrong! Whatever you say! ARRRAGGGGH.)
"SAUDI CUSTOMS, RELIGIOUS POLICE, AND GENERAL STANDARDS OF
CONDUCT: Islam pervades all aspects of life in Saudi Arabia. It
is the official religion of the country, and public observance of
any other religion is forbidden. Public non-Muslim religious
services are illegal, and public display of non-Islamic religious
articles such as crosses and Bibles is not permitted. Travel to
Makkah (Mecca) and Medina, the cities where the two holiest
mosques of Islam are located, is forbidden to non-Muslims."
(Doug Says: Don't get lost. And don't forget to hide your bible.
Or the rocks will fly. Or the Religion police will throw you in a
cell with "Abdul the knife.")
"The norms for public behavior in Saudi Arabia are extremely
conservative, and religious police, known as Mutawwa, are charged
with enforcing these standards. "
(Doug Says: In Muslim land, you have regular Cops, then you have
religious Cops. Does the word "Inquisition" mean anything to
anyone?)
"Mutawwa are required to carry special identification and usually
are accompanied by uniformed police. However, in some cases they
have detained persons even without police presence. To ensure
that conservative standards of conduct are observed, the Saudi
religious police have accosted or arrested foreigners, including
U.S. citizens, for improper dress or other infractions, such as
consumption of alcohol or association by a female with a male to
whom she is not related."
(Doug Says: Hard to pick up girls I bet. Especially when you can
be stoned to death just for talking to one you are not related
to. I bet there is a lot of body language in Muslim land. But
then what do you do if the Mutawwa guy does not like your green
Bermuda shorts? Practice rock ducking?)
"The Saudi Embassy in Washington advises women traveling to Saudi
Arabia to dress
in a conservative fashion, wearing ankle-length dresses with long
sleeves, and not to wear trousers in public. In many areas of
Saudi Arabia, particularly Riyadh and the central part of the
Kingdom, Mutawwa pressure women to wear a full-length black
covering known as an Abaya and to cover their heads. Most women
in these areas therefore wear an Abaya and carry a head scarf to
avoid being accosted. Women who appear to be of Arab or Asian
origin, especially those presumed to be Muslims, face a greater
risk of being confronted."
(Doug Says: It should surprise no one that women in Muslim land
are really slaves. They are treated as sub humans, and even
Daughters are treated as chattel. The Fathers auction off their
Daughters to the highest bidder when marriage time comes. The
girls have no say, and they really are just trading one tyrant
for another. As far as female fashion is concerned, the
brutality, and suppression of anything female is obsessive to
Muslim men. They will kill a woman if her head scarf happens to
blow away. Safety pins are a big deal in Muslim land) .
"Some Mutawwa try to enforce the rule that men and women who are
beyond childhood
years may not mingle in public, unless they are family or close
relatives. "
(Doug Says: So now not only are men and women forbidden to talk
with each other, men and women cannot even walk on the same side
of the street! Like I said, I bet it is hard to pick up girls in
Muslim land . . . not unless you learn to run in-between the
rocks, or like torture. Blind dates are a real whipping I
bet...literally!)
"Mutawwa may ask to see proof that a couple is married or
related. Women who are arrested for socializing with a man who is
not a relative may be charged with prostitution. Some
restaurants, particularly fast-food outlets, have refused to
serve women who are not accompanied by a close male relative. In
addition, many restaurants no longer have a "family section" in
which women are permitted to eat. These restrictions are not
always posted, and in some cases women violating this policy have
been arrested. "
(Doug Says: Now women cannot even eat in public. I guess that is
because they need to lift their veil a bit to get the food in
their pathetic mouths. This goes far beyond even slavery. This is
something right out of "Arabian Nights." Wait a minute! This IS
Arabian Nights! I bet you thought that book applied only to the
past . . . well guess again. Welcome to the reality of Muslim
land ...these boys really do *live* in the past.)
"Women are not allowed to drive vehicles or ride bicycles on
public roads. In public, dancing, music and movies are forbidden.
"
(Doug Says: Well, if they won't let them eat, walk, talk, smile,
cough, giggle, sniffle, shout, or lift their eyes or head,
farting, riding a bike or dancing is obviously out of the
question. Big money in Beano in Muslim land.)
"Pornography, which is very broadly defined by Saudi authorities,
is strictly forbidden. "
(Doug Says: "A picture of your Mother without proper Muslim dress
is considered "Pornography" in Muslim land...if you own one its
off to the dungeon with you. I am not kidding.)
"This replaces the Consular Information Sheet for Saudi Arabia
dated March 17, 2000 to add a section on Dual Nationality and to
update the sections on Entry/Exit, Safety and Security, Crime,
Medical Insurance, Other Health Information, Aviation Safety
Oversight, Criminal Penalties and Registration.
Return to Consular Information Sheets and Travel Conflicting
Page"
End of Consular Information Sheet:
Doug Says: If you are pining for a Palestinian state for those
poor Palestinians, then you had better think again. Granting them
a Muslim state is equivalent to a stretch in a prison for most of
them, and for the Palestinian woman it is analogous to a death
sentence.
The laws of Islam are about as familiar to Americans as "skinning
Martians." We know nothing about them, and our mouths open in
slack jawed utter disbelief when we hear some of these incredibly
oppressive laws explained . . . along with their appropriate
punishments. My Wife thought I was kidding when I read some of
these laws to her, and she wondered why we seem to be so hung up
on the human rights violations of China when this kind of
incredible slavery and oppressions still exists in the world? She
does have a good point.
The free people of the world cannot allow this kind of oppression
to exist not to mention creating more of it. If we allow a new
Muslim state to emerge in Iraq, Afghanistan or Palestine we are
just guaranteeing more slavery, more hatred of Christians and
Jews, and more attacks on America and Israel in the future.
No wonder all these Muslims are half crazy and hate Israel.
Israel is a democracy, and its people enjoy freedoms that Muslims
cannot even imagine without ending up in some dungeon. How can
the Mullahs keep the religious strangle hold on the Islamic
populations when the Israelis, sitting on the very next rock,
enjoy all of the individual freedoms a democracy can provide?
Also, why has the U.N. failed to condemn such obvious human
rights oppressions? Where is Amnesty International? Oh hell, I
forgot . . . the Arab league contributes big money to these
organizations . . . and their leaders often end up working for
one of the Saudi companies . . . what a coincidence.
The laws of Islam make it abundantly clear that we should not
support, condone, encourage nor advocate a new "Palestinian,
Iraqi nor Afghanistan Muslim State." We are just creating another
"slave-state" monster that our children will need to hunt down
and kill sometime in the future...or be killed by it.
