Incompetence at CPS is worse than I thought

I have long believed that Child Protective Services is a poorly run
public agency, but after reading Laurie Roberts' column about a
caseworker dating the abusive father of children in her care, I am
convinced it is a disgrace ("What did CPS do for abused kids? Let
caseworker date dad," Republic, Saturday).
Becoming friends with a convicted child abuser is bad enough for someone
whose job is to protect the children of Arizona, but to become
romantically involved with one is a new low.
What in God's name is wrong with CPS that it would have someone on its
staff who displays such poor judgment? What is this woman thinking? Amy
Gile should be fired and charged with aiding a child abuser. Her
supervisors should be fired and every manager in the agency should be
fired for total incompetence.
Children are our future. I know there are some CPS employees who believe
that and who do everything in their power to protect them. It's too bad
that this agency, as a whole, doesn't seem to believe in that same value.
Get rid of these non-thinking people, revamp this sad, sad agency and do
it now. - Nancy Henry,Fountain Hills
CURRENTLY CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES VIOLATES MORE CIVIL RIGHTS ON A
DAILY BASIS THEN ALL OTHER AGENCIES COMBINED INCLUDING THE NATIONAL
SECURITY AGENCY/CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY WIRETAPPING PROGRAM....
CPS Does not protect children...
It is sickening how many children are subject to abuse, neglect and even
killed at the hands of Child Protective Services.
every parent should read this .pdf from

BE SURE TO FIND OUT WHERE YOUR CANDIDATES STANDS ON THE ISSUE OF
REFORMING OR ABOLISHING CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES ("MAKE YOUR CANDIDATES
TAKE A STAND ON THIS ISSUE.") THEN REMEMBER TO VOTE ACCORDINGLY IF THEY
ARE "FAMILY UNFRIENDLY" IN THE NEXT ELECTION...
