I think this test does give a low number tho. According to the SAT tables,
my IQ should be about 146 http://members.shaw.ca/delajara/SATIQ.html
But I have had several thousand beers since then.
BTW, the SATs have been so fucked up that nobody bothers to try to equate
them with IQ anymore. Half the questions are probably about Susan B Anthony
and MLK.

No, but what I thought was right wasn't, I guess. I don't know
how the test was graded or how many possible answers were right or
partially right, so I don't know. Maybe there's a time factor. If
you get them all right, but it takes you half an hour, you lose
points?
I think this test does give a low number tho. According to the

and require finding a geometric pattern in a field of 9 squares, mostly. I
do pretty badly at those but a head hunter from New Guinea might be a wiz at

Anyone know how this thing is scored? I see 135 as a score. There were 40
questions. Anyone know the different weights of the questions? Obviously
some were more important than others. It would be interesting to know which
ones mattered more.

I seen that thre dot in the first row, ya no the one a going uppy and
downy, a moving up one step at a time and I also seen da utter dot in that
there forth row a fallen downards an over, dat make it one step down and
anuder step to the left on each shot, or diagnally one step at a time, and
them there two middle dots don't move none. Which kinder makes me come to
believe that that there pattern in the second choice the mostest correct one.

The intelligence curve for the entire population is a roughly
symmetrical bell, with the mean, median, and mode all right around 100,
give or take about 3 points. And the semi-interquartile range (that is,

This means that if you have an IQ of, say, 115 or 120, you're not a

realize how many morons there are running around, but probably not quite

you're just as dumb *they* are. In the case of my boss, it's no act,
which is why my boss is a boss, and I'm still one of those little people
who actually *does* things.

I only got 124...but still above average. I'm described as the "precision
processor". Now...to get out that chess board...I have some practising to

A few years ago I had taken another test that indicated 144 as my IQ. I was
one point short of genius according to their chart.
Well, in any case, I know I'm no dummy! Not yet anyway! ;-)

I didn't think it was a very good test. Some of the questions
had multiple "right" answers. E.g. in question 33 you could reasonably
flag the circle as the odd one out, since all the others were polygons,
or you could flag the last triangle as the odd one out since all the
others were symmetric. There were other questions like that as well.
Anyone care to post an answer key, since I don't feel like paying
the $15 just to find out.

You might want to consider being tested by MENSA, or by a psychologist,
on something more standard, like the Stanford-Binet test. Internet tests
can be flawed, and that particualr test tends to score low for adults.

Naw, I'll settle for 138. The fun thing about these tests (actually, this is
the first I've taken where I've seen the result) is finding your weaknesses.
Mine is 2-D visual logic, which is why I suck at chess. But I'm a good
amateur architect because I have an interest in it.
Genes don't care about IQ, BTW. Lots of black guys with 80 IQs get plenty of

Also BTW, East Asians have higher average IQs than whites and there are 2
