IRAN- THE TRUMAN OPTION

Iran has told our European allies (Britain, France and Germany)
to pound sand in respect to their offers of free laurels, food,
supplies, (whatever they wanted), just if they stop trying to
enrich uranium for their nuclear weapon's programs.
In fact, wonder of wonders, the French press is now even agreeing
with President Bush on Iran! Please say it ain't so the Kerryites
are howling, but it is so.
Pierre Rousselin in Paris's "Le Figaro" said that ever since
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won the presidency, there has been a
"noticeable hardening" of the Iranian position on building
nuclear weapons. And that the USA's insistence that Iran is
working to build nuclear bombs is fast becoming the only theory
that fit the facts.
The fact that Iran is defying the entire free world and is
hurriedly building nuclear weapons has even prompted the
Europeans to cancel and pull out of talks with Iran that were
scheduled for August 31, 2005.
So what is left on the table as far as Diplomacy goes?
As most already know, I predicted the European talks (and bribes)
with Iran would fail. I predicted that Iran will not stop
building its nuclear bombs, and as soon as it builds them it will
give them to Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, the Revolutionary Guard and the
Jerusalem Brigade as fast as it can produce them. Iran cannot
give in diplomatically to stop building nuclear weapons as that
would be an admission by the Ayatollahs that God is not on their
side, and that the American's and Jews are superior to radical
screaming fascist Muslims.
So there will be no diplomatic solution to the Iranian threat of
Nuclear war. There never was a chance there would be - but that
was something our European allies had to find out for themselves,
and they have found it out - while giving Iran some more time to
stall and secretly continue its nuclear weapon program.
The only thing left for the free world to do is to embargo Iran,
or use the Truman option. If we embargo Iran that means the price
of gas at the pump will double, and Iran will probably attack our
embargo ships, which will mean war. But better war now than later
after Iran has its nuclear weapons in place, and has delivered
them to its various militias that hide behind names such as Al
Qaeda, Hezbollah or Haamas.
The Truman Option
In 1945 it appeared that we would need to invade Japan to end
WWII. That invasion was carefully planned by our military, and
casualty estimates for both sides ranged from 500,000 to
5,000,000. Imperial Japan had 8000 Kamikaze planes and pilots
waiting in the wings for us, and had also built extensive bunker
systems underground throughout Japan, and Japan had built up
almost impregnable defenses in the areas we were most likely to
invade. The invasion of Japan would have made the Normandy
Invasion look like a Girl Scout tea party.
All experts agree the planned invasion of Japan would have
resulted in the biggest blood bath the world has ever seen.
So to save lives on both sides, President Truman decided to use
the Atomic Bomb to force Japan to surrender. Approximately
250,000 Japanese were killed by those bombs, and the sheer horror
of that weapon forced Japan to surrender. Yet the use of those
weapons also saved the lives of countless American soldiers and
Marines, and also saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of
Allied POW's. (Japan said they would execute our POW's if we
invaded their homeland).
Considering the suicidal and maniacal ideologies of the Imperial
Japanese, and their Kamikaze pilots and weapons, the similarity
between Imperial Japan in 1945 and present day Iran is striking.
If NATO invades Iran, the world will witness the biggest blood
bath the world has heretofore ever seen. Iran sent human waves of
children against the Iraqis during the Iran/Iraq war, and Iran
has millions of indoctrinated citizens that will form vast armies
of screaming mad lunatics that will eagerly sacrifice themselves
to help kill any invading force.
If we invade Iran, the amount of butchering, man, woman and
child, will be on a scale never even witnessed during WWII or
WWI. That is what we are headed for, no doubt, unless we use the
Truman option.
One thing to remember: What ended the Iraq/Iranian war? It was
when Saddam started using chemical weapons to stop the Iranian
human wave attacks. That weapon convinced the Iranians their
suicide armies (Kamikazes) would be decimated and could never be
successful. So the Iranians withdrew and sued for peace with
Saddam - who was also eager to end the war.
Use High-Tech Weapons Instead of US Boots
No one in America wants our troops to be killed. We certainly all
mourn every loss of American life, and we use our casualty
figures as a basis to determine whether we are winning a war or
losing it, or whether the cost is too great to continue to
prosecute our war on terror.
Those casualty litmus tests to continue our war are dangerous as
we are now in a war that is sure to involve nuclear weapons being
used on our homeland by the Iranians some time in the near
future.
Yet our enemies are counting on our stupidity, our cowardliness,
our shortsightedness, in respect to our casualties. They know
there is no way to fight a war without casualties, but believe
the American people are stupid enough to think otherwise, and our
enemies also believe we will cut and run when the American
casualty figures start to mount - so they are going to do their
best to kill American soldiers, regardless of their own losses
(so far we have killed or captured approximately 52,000
terrorists in Iraq, while only losing approximately 1800 dead).
No real Army would suffer that kind of loss ratio, and the goons
cannot keep it up. But they believe if they can keep killing
American soldiers there are vast numbers of politicians and
voters in America that are cowardly enough, or stupid enough, or
shortsighted enough, to start railing for the USA to cut and run
and give the terrorists a victory - upon which the terrorists
will just grow stronger, be able to recruit more terrorists, and
will patiently wait for their nuclear weapons the Iranians have
promised to deliver to them.
So should we wait until the Iranian backed terrorists attack
America with Nuclear weapons, or should we do something radical
to stop Iran now?
The Timmerman Report
An Author and renown investigative reporter by the name of
Kenneth R. Timmerman reported recently in a live interview on Fox
that he personally interviewed (face to face interviews) six
defectors from Iran (including one Colonel from the Revolutionary
Guard and former Iranian Intelligence officers) that confirmed
the following: (You may find more information in this regard in
Mr. Timmerman's book; "Countdown to Crisis: The Coming Nuclear
Showdown with Iran. (I am paraphrasing his points

1. Osama Bin Laden is in Iran and is being protected by the
Iranian Government (just like I have said in my previous posts).
1. Iran's Government (Ayatollahs) helped to plan the 911 attacks
on the USA.
2. Iran has promised to give all of its terrorist militias
nuclear weapons.
3. Iran has already planned how to use weapons of mass
destruction against the USA and Israel.
4. Al Qaeda could not exist, and could not have existed without
the direct support, training and financing that came from and is
still coming from Iran.
If Mr. Timmerman is correct the following will also be true:
1. We will never stop Iran from building nuclear weapons with
diplomacy.
2. We will never stop Iran from attacking the USA and Israel with
nuclear weapons (once they are constructed) with diplomacy.
3. Due to the 911 attacks, and the terrorists Iran is sending
into Iraq, we should already be at war with Iran.
The Question
Do we want to use our troops and our allies troops in perhaps the
greatest blood bath war the world has ever seen to stop Iran from
using nuclear weapons on cities within the USA, or should we use
at least some of our high-tech weapons we have developed over the
years to destroy the Iranian nuclear plants, the Iranian
Government, the Iranian terrorist Armies, and then occupy a
defeated Iran? Otherwise known as the "Truman Option."
My vote is to start using our high-tech weapons now. Especially
tactical nuclear weapons that can be lazar or GPS guided to
explode underground thereby not releasing any radioactivity in
the air. We must prove to the Iranians and the world we will not
abide by such threats as are coming from Iran, and that we are
determined to destroy radical Muslim terrorism once and for all.
That attack could also produce a scenario of "diplomacy from a
position of strength" or might just require us to continue the
attack until the fascist radical Muslim government has been
removed from Iran once and for all time. But if we do not attack
with our high-tech weapons, the Iranians will never bargain -
that is one fact we can be sure of.
Regardless, we must act, and act quickly. Iran has shown the
world its true colors. It will develop its nuclear weapons, and
it will give those weapons to terrorist militias that have sworn
to use them to attack the USA, Britain and Israel.
Are we going to just remain "politically correct" until millions
of Americans, Brits and Israelis lose their lives? Someone needs
to bite the political bullet here and do what needs to be done,
and do it fast.

A very good idea, OZ. With the US attacking a nation that never
attacked us, with Israel grabbing as much Palestinian land as possible,
armed with nuclear weapons, any nation that does not try to get their
own nukes is plain stupid. The non proliferation treaty is just a bad
joke. Why doesn't Israel use their nukes instead of always trying to
get the US to do their dirty work for them ?
