Iraq war has been making the world a more dangerous place |
Once again, why are we Americans fighting in Iraq? We know it's not to
destroy weapons of mass destruction. It's not to embetter lives of Iraqi
people. Unlike when under Saddam Hussein, Iraq under the American-Brittish
occupation is in total chaos. Is Iraq better off without Saddam? Ask
relatives and friends of those killed since the occupation. Ask those
Iraqis, who now are maimed for life.
Oh, we are fighting terrorism there, right? So we can feel safer at home,
right? Why then all those, who have really searched for answers, say in one
voice:: "The world is a more dangerous place, thanks to Iraq war"?
A question to radical Christian ultrarightists and other who still support
this crazy, costly and useless war: "What exactly are our kids dying for in
Iraq?"
Why did we need to double our loss on 9/11? Really, WHY???

Generals, spies attack Bush Iraq policy
BETH GORHAM
Canadian Press
Washington - It couldn't have come at a worse time for U.S. Republicans
trying to get re-elected in mid-term elections in November on the strength
of their national security efforts.
Part of a comprehensive spy report finished in April and leaked last weekend
said the U.S. invasion of Iraq helped create a new generation of Islamic
radicals and increased the global terrorism threat.
That's the opposite of what President George W. Bush has been telling
Americans for weeks in pre-election speeches and it could have a significant
impact on whether the party retains control of Congress this fall.
The National Intelligence Estimate, a consensus view of 16 separate spy
agencies including the CIA, was the talk of the capital Monday as Democrats
held hearings on all the failings in Iraq and White House officials blitzed
the airwaves in a bid to control the damage.

Ah ha.
So you're claiming that George 'WMD' Bush bases American foreign
policy on whatever pisses off his political opponents?
I suppose that makes as much sense as any of the varying
explanations HE's given...

Or it could be self centred, excessively patriotic, paranoia in the
mist of a quest for world domination.
Or perhaps with the Soviet threat non-existant the U.S needed another
"tyrannical empire" to pit itself against.
Or the only way to justify outrageous military spending was to start a
war.
Or perhaps unemployment was gonna increase and there was a need to cut
the population.
Or maybe the folks at the Pentagon were just getting bored.
Or it could be oil.
Or it could be that after years spent slaughtering people in the middle
east hand in hand with Isreal - that someone finally fought back.

Havn't you heard?
The entire US intelligence services are wrong and Bush is right.

Cheney and Co needed the money.

By the way - they are not really Christians.
