BAGHDAD (AP) -
An Iraqi police chief praised by US forces for clearing his city of
insurgents has been arrested.
The US military says the arrest of the Sunni official follows an
investigation into alleged murder, corruption and crimes against the
Iraqi people.

Did he? He's back. So much for the "surge." I predict that in a little while
a whole lot of people in the current so-called government will leave the
country "for medical reasons" and they won't come back. Their stolen money is
safely stashed abroad and their bags are packed and they have one-way tickets
to London.
