Object: Is there anything that Bush wrote?
Are there any writings available that George W. Bush authored himself?
At least there must be some papers form school somewhere. Can anybody
steer me to something?

He once read "My Pet Goat" as the World Trade Centre burned. I doubt he
wrote anything. The graduated bottom of his class.

He can check boxes in printed forms with great skill.
"Although Bush said he wanted to follow in his dad's
footsteps as a wartime combat pilot, his application
shows he checked the "does not wish to serve overseas"
box."
www.commondreams.org/views04/0208-03.htm

"One of the questions on his application asked if
he wanted to go overseas, and he checked the box,
"do not volunteer."
www.geocities.com/goldeneagle19532003/Bush.html
"Mr. Bush's application for the Guard included a
box to be checked specifying whether he did or did
not volunteer for overseas duty. His includes a
check mark in the box not wanting to volunteer for
such an assignment."
freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1070876/posts
"On his Guard application, the future president checked
a box saying he did "not" want to be considered for
overseas deployment."
www.buzzflash.com/contributors/03/06/05_moore.html
"When the president filled out his enlistment papers,
those forms included a checkbox asking whether he wanted
to serve overseas or not. The president checked off the
box labeled “I Do Not” volunteer to serve overseas."

If he doesn't like reading then I'd guess he really hates writing since
he'd have to read it. Maybe that's why this group seems so incompetent -
they use the oral 'button, button, whose got the button' approach to
management.
I would love to see something he wrote. There was a professor of his from
Harvard that might be able to help.

The link works for me now. I missed this story. Bush, while attending
United Nations Security Council meeting, wrote a note to Condi. The
content according to Reuters:
"I think I
may need a bathroom
break.
Is this possible."
When I made the inquiry in my original post, I was hoping for some kind
of long report or opinion piece. I had planned to look at his style and
composition skills. Nonetheless, a written note, even a brief one,
offers some opportunity for insight.
I see a question mark after "break", but I don't see one at the end
of the second sentence (but it's possible it could have been blocked by
his hand). Since the question mark was positioned high and was actually
un-called for, it indicates he was wondering when he wrote the
sentence. In his mind, the first sentence was a question of a sort.
The serifs on the pronoun "I's" are unusually long, and the non-pronoun
capital "I" in "Is" is different . This emphasis of the pronoun "I",
meaning self, is common among people with big egos. Since he's
president, he can be excused, but has he always written his "I's" this
way?
It looks like the capitalization is incorrect. The D at the end of
neeD, and B at the beginning of Bathroom, for example.
"I think" is a throwaway phrase, which, if anything, implies
indecision. Most experienced writers wouldn't use it, and writing
courses advocate using it sparingly.
He has good organizational skills. The body of the note is well
centered on the page, and the left margin is straight.
His "T's" look self-crossing (at least by using my definition of
self-crossing). This is a plus. People who write a lot or intelligent
people use self-crossing T's.
"Bathroom" does appear to be emphasized. He probably *has* to go. Does
Bush have a prostrate problem?
The pitch of the lines and pitch of the characters are both within the
normal range. He probably isn't emotionally crazy or depressed.
The signature initials, if that's what they are, are on the left. This
implies caution. Or possibly it means he likes the block paragraph
style.
Unlike some graphologist, I would not make much of him using printing
instead of cursive. It was a note, and he probably prints all of them
for legibility.
The pencil is a bit unusual. The second writhing instrument looks like
a back-up pencil. Assuming he decided on his own what writing
instrument to use, the pencil shows a lack of boldness.

The man is not literate. The GOP sanitized all of his writings before
the election. His theses for his Master's Degree even disappeared.

Even if the MBA doesn't require a thesis, there still would be plenty
of lesser works a student would be required to write. He must have
written something.

Masters theses are accessible to the public; things like essay tests
and short papers are not.
