Funny, for all of my "liberalism," I have come to despise Islamic
ideology...there is absolutely no way the epidemic of Islamic terror and
barbarity that is at an epidemic level on our planet could exist without the
tacit support, the silence of the world's 20% Muslim population.
I don't think it is helpful to psychologize "Jihadism." The intolerance,
irrationalities and xenophobia of Islam are apparent for anyone with open
eyes.
I have come to see Islam as immersed in a Culture of Death....interestingly,
these were Bin Laden's words on a tape long ago: "You love life....but we
love death."
I have no respect for Islam whatsoever...a few Buddhist monks self-immolated
themselves during the Vietnam War in protests...they did not go on a
murderous rampage.
Islamic Rage runs through the culture.......

I think the "mainstream media" doesn't show jihadi beheadings because
the beheadeds' loved ones don't want them too.
P.S. Islam is not a cult of filth. Jihadiism is.

I'm unconvinced that Islam per se is a fascist cult. They have elements
that are fascist cults, and do damn little to stop them. But normally I
have to argue with liberals about this happening at all... which is
okay, I have to argue with my own party about it. I supported the Iraq
invasion for a number of reasons, one of the most compelling being
having the (in my mind, anyway) inevitable confrontation with
Islamofascism on foreign soil.
I've got a couple of questions while you two are on this, though. About
how long ago did you come to this conclusion? And what was it that
tipped you over the edge? I've noticed a couple of posts from liberals
who finally got fed up with the idiocy over the cartoons...

A fundamentalist from any religion can be compared with fascism.
Only atheists can claim to be free from this name tag.
Islam is racist, it is steeped in impossible superstition and then it gets
a boost by not being the religion of world power. And this is not right in
