Israel has threatened to shoot down Egyptian drones spying on a nuclear
facility and a ballistic missile site, The Sunday Times reported. Israeli
sources claim that the flights contravene a peace treaty, signed in 1979
between the two sides.
"We'll raise the urgent issue of their spy flights for sure," said one
Israeli source. "However, we know that they may stop them only when we
intercept the intruders, and that will not take long."
Egypt's unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) have been seen in recent weeks over
Israel's nuclear research facilities at Nahal Sorek and the test site for
Israel's advanced ballistic missiles in Palmahim, south of Tel Aviv.
The Egyptian flights, in turn, are causing concern in Israel. "We're worried

Yes, 500 of our children and thousands of our kids have been seriously wounded
to remove WMD from a crazy middle eastern leader. This conflict was largely
the result of Israel dual citizens like Perle and Rumsfield.
Does anyone feel that it is safer to allow people like SHaron to have WMD than
it is to allow Saddam to have them?
It is time to remove all WMD from the middle east including Israel. The Israel
stole the secrets on how to build the WMD from us anyway.

No, Israel is a democracy for all who accept it's legitimacy as a
state and become Israeli citizens. This includes muslims (who not only
vote, but hold seats in the Knesset), christians and Druze. There are
also non-jews serving in the IDF. The state may well be majority
jewish, founded by jews, and have some official ties with the religion
of Judaism, but the same can be said of Christianity in the UK. Israel
simply isn't analagous to apartheid-era south africa.

Egypt doesn't violate Israel's airspace.
On the moment that an Egyptian drone will come close enough to the
Israeli airspace it will be shot down without even entering into the
Israeli airspace.
Egyptian non-civilian planes flying over Sinai would also be a serious
violation and could be shot down by Israel, and the same is for Syrian
planes flying in south Lebanon.
Israel has complete air superiority over its neighbors.
And no, the Arabs don't have the right to violate Israel's
sovereignty.

The problem is with you not
with Israel. It is not Israel's fault that you believe in conspiracy
theories. Most of the Egyptians believe that Israel did 9/11. Others
believe that Israel murdered JFK, despite the fact that it was a
Palestine who were murdered him. Others believe in all sort of alien
creature conspiracies. So what?
Well the problem with you is your explainations.
I posted a correction immediately after posting this. I talked of
course about Robert Kennedy and Sirhan Sirhan.
JFK was shot by an American
at least according ot the government. I really do not think anyone knows who
did 911.
It is interesting that Israel can bomb ohters and attack
others but some how pooooooor Israel is not understood.
I never said Israel is poor. On the contrary, I said that Israel has
complete air superiority. Israeli jets and UAVs are regularly
patrolling over south Lebanon, and on two occasions on the last year
Israeli jets broke the sound barrier over Assad's palace. Yet, if
someone would dare to violate Israel's airspace he should be
immediately shot down.

Unbelievable, I just read about the Egyptian drone in an Israeli
newspaper.
I guess the order not to get it down was because of some mistake or
because of some diplomatic reason. I think it was a big mistake not to
bring the drone down and I hope it's the last time this kind of
mistake is happening.

The Egyptians have every right to know what kind of nuclear arsenal their
neighbours have, especially since the Israelis deny owning any and deny
ccess to the IAEA to verify that Israeli lie.
In 1956 Israel joined with Engand and France and invaded Egypt and took the
canal. Ike did not allow it to continue
1956 Israel arranged to blow up building in Egypt and they were going to blame
the Egyptians. The buildings were mostly foreign companies and foreign
government offices. The Israel government lost many because of the embarsement
of this plan.
In 1967 Israel on a sunday morning sneaked attacked the Egptians. It was very
much like the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor but much more successful. THey
murdered many egyptain and destroyed most of the Egyptian airforce. This
started the 6 day war which ended up with Israel being 3 times larger than
before they started the war.
Only a fool would trust the Israel who have a tendency to sneak attack others.

You bet. Libia is giving up its wMD so it is about time the George W. Bush
goes after Israel who clearly has WMD. I would suspect that Sharon would be
just as bad as Saddam in most people's minds about being in control of WMD.
Now that the United States has the moral high ground, we should disarm all the
rogue nations including Israel.
