First of all, I don't know how you extrapolated from this article that
"Israel got an *****-kicking". They lost a man and had two wounded, but
accomplished their task. It's likely Hezbollah lost more than one man in
this operation and had more than two wounded.
Secondly, you need to focus on this quotation, albeit from an Israeli
spokesperson:
"the raid was not a violation of the cease-fire because it was in response
to a violation by Hezbollah. "If the other side violates the cease-fire,
then we are entitled to act,".
Where do you not see the proper logic to that?
The cease fire was not created as a one-sided opportunity for Hezbollah to
re-arm. The fact that they are using the time as an opportunity to re-arm
indicates where their true motivations lie. The cease fire conditions do NOT
prevent the Israelis from taking defensive military measures and should not
be interpreted any other way. Only people with a one-sided agenda would
interpret the rules in any other way.
Since you seem to be a terrorist sympathizer, you should simply be happy
that Lebanon is no longer being bombed to martyrdom.
I had sympathy for the Lebanese citizenry caught in the middle of this, but
no longer since their president chose to come out clearly in support of the
very militant terrorist group actually occupying his own country. What a
frickin' coward he is.
I guarantee you if Hezbollah does not disarm, the Israelis will not repeat
the mistake they made this last time by trying to rely on surgical air
strikes. My gut feeling is that you will live to see them disarmed, and
maybe dislegged and disheaded as well. At least I'm one person who hopes so.

Now if they would have just abided by the cease fire this would not have
happened.
