JAPAN MUST RE-ARM ITSELF TO GAIN RESPECT |
For too long Japan has been harassed by North Korea and belittled by
Red China.
North Korea brazenly test-flew its missiles over Japan's airspace.
North Korea also in the past brazenly entered Japan's borders and
abducted its citizens.
It's about time that Japan re-arm itself and join the ranks of adult
nations that have proper defense capabilities.
It's about time that Japan scrap its post World War II Constitution and
begin to arm itself sufficiently and assume more responsibility in this
present century. For too long Japan has been seen simply as an
economic monster whose sole interest was in becoming a dominant
economic power. The defense industry of Japan will give more job
opportunities to the people. I also propose a draft system for Japan.
Times are changing. We are no longer living in the World War II
mindset.
I fully support the creation of a full-fledged Japanese Army, Navy and
Air Force that could defend on its own from rogue nations such as North
Korea.
The days of simply Self-Defense Forces must come to an end.
I truly hope that Shinzo Abe will bring Japan towards a stronger Japan.
Japan should no longer kowtow to the harassment from Red China or
North Korea.
This does not mean that Japan will revert itself to the World War II
mentality of Asian domination. It will never ever happen.
A strong U.S.-Japan bilateral relationship must continue on and Japan,
South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and other Southeast nations should work
together to strengthen the defense of Asia from any rogue nations or
any global terrorist groups.
This is why I welcome Shinzo Abe as Japan's promising new Prime
Minister.

The shame is that you may be right. ONE country in the world tried to set an
example for all others by unilaterally disarming itself, a truly altruistic
notion, and we are beginning to see the dire consequences of that act.
The problem may be that human nature may dictate that there will always be
someone who thinks his (her) job is world domination.
You should read the book Malevil by Robert Merle. It was written over 30
years ago but has much to say about the consequences of trying to return to
a "simpler" existence.
