Kerry admits his earlier pompous claim was a lie |
Kerry says Franco-German troops unlikely
By Stephen Dinan and Rowan Scarborough
THE WASHINGTON TIMES
Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry conceded yesterday that he
probably will not be able to convince France and Germany to contribute
troops to Iraq if he is elected president.
The Massachusetts senator has made broadening the coalition trying to
stabilize Iraq a centerpiece of his campaign, but at a town hall meeting
yesterday, he said he knows other countries won't trade their soldiers'
lives for those of U.S. troops.

Kerry lies a lot, makes hot air claims, then is forced to admit he is lying
all along. What a piece of ultraleftist Democrat garbage. The guy is a
total loser.

getting other countries to send troops to a war that was a mistake isn't
the only way to get help. show those countries the light at the end of
the tunnel....... give them some rebuilding contracts...... and they might
be willing to help in other ways.
there are other ways they can help....... but i'm sure you're too
ignorant to realize that. You seem like a real republican parrot..... so
i don't think you're capable of independent thought or reasoning.

Babs, relax, this person only pointed out what we all know: that you're
incapable of one original thought and instead of giving YOUR insights, you
keep repeating the same nonsense.
If I understand you right, BTW, you're blaming Kerry for trusting the
president?
Is this why you start calling people "*****"?
Gee, get a grip. You won't make it until November...

Do we need to imprint the facts on your forehead???? He voted because
bush used fabricated evidence to convince them Saddam was a threat. Of

Yes, he said that France and Germany "probably" they wouldn't want to
exchange their dead men for ours.
The Massachusetts senator has made broadening the coalition trying to
stabilize Iraq a centerpiece of his campaign, but at a town hall meeting
yesterday, he said he knows other countries won't trade their soldiers'
lives for those of U.S. troops.

If you actually bothered to *read* the article, you'd see that Kerry
clarified the statement. He said that when he said that about France and
Germany, he was talking about the countries he considered the most
reluctant. He considers most other countries less reluctant and thus more
willing to be allies on the ground. So he said he thinks *two* countries
*probably* wouldn't go along militarily. That leaves plenty of countries.
