New York University professor and author Mark Crispin Miller says in
an interview on Democracy Now!: “[Kerry] told me he now thinks the
election was stolen. He says he doesn't believe he is the person that
can be out in front because of the sour grapes question. But he said
he believes it was stolen. He says he argues with his democratic
colleagues on the hill. He said he had a fight with Christopher Dodd
because he said there's questions about the voting machines and Dodd
was angry.”

Mattrixx, you are correct. Kerry was in on the fix. He proved it 20
years ago when he pulled punches during his part of the Iran-Contra
investigation. As part of the Senator Foreign Relations Committee sub
Committee of Terrorism and International Operations or some such.
I saw Kerry on TV making nebulous comments about GHW Bush being
involved in Iran-Contra drug smuggling. This was in 1988. I was
unable to get any informatino on this from calling his office, but I
eventually found articles in the New York Times and books by Peter Dale
Scott that described this in more detail. Including accusations by
Professor Scott that Kerry had pulled punches during his investigation,
which, according to Scott, was his job to begin with.
As for being in on the fix, I always thought that the 1964, 1972, 1984,
and 1996 elections were jokes guaranteed to let the incumbent win. And
in 1996, I was supported in incumbent, yet I still felt this way.

I don't believe he's part of a "fix" but he does put his image in
front of his personal ambitions and I'm not sure which is worse.
If he had put America first, and that's more important than
either his dignity or his record of accomplishment, then he
would have fought for the presidency. And he would have
been doing the right thing. Thinking about himself is what

You can either accuse the Democrats of getting complacent with power
or explain that they became too dignified to deal with the challenge
of the unprincipled street fighters in the Republican party. The
Republicans will do anything to win even if it means politicizing
everything to the exclusion of what's best for American. In the
90's Clinton couldn't properly deal with the terror threat, though
he did a damn good job, because the Repubs accused him of
"wag the dog" - all because they were trying impeach him over
a *****. Now, they focus all their energies on consolidating
their political power. The present day Republican party are a
unique evil in the history of the world.
