LOL! Kerry makes ***** of himself re. missing Iraq explosives! |
The increasingly-stupid sounding John Forbes Kerry (in conjunction with his
stooge, the New York Times) gushed all over himself over this past weekend
about "hundreds of tons of missing explosives in Iraq" and bitched massively
about "Bush's failure to guard those explosives".
Now it turns out they were missing before American soldiers even set foot in
Iraq.
What an ***** the John (and his stooge, the New York Times) has made of

This is a classic Karl Rove maneuver. Watch for the time when your opponent
runs out of gas and starts using the headlines for ammunition. Then, pull
one from awhile back and leak it and watch your opponent fumble all over it.
If you do a google you will find two things. Where this story first came

report that the theft happened after the invasion. Not only that, there is a
quote from Whitehouse spokesman Scott McClellan stating
"the first priority, from our standpoint, was to make sure that this wasn't
a nuclear proliferation risk, which it is not. These are conventional high
explosives that we are talking about."
Hmm, if the theft happened before the invasion I would expect the Whitehouse
spokesman to say so, yet he does not.

Hmm, if the theft happened before the invasion I would expect the Whitehouse
spokesman to say so, yet he does not.
That's also an incredible statement by McClellan, all things considered.
The IAEA had the ordinance sealed exactly because it WAS a nuclear
proliferation risk. Since it was in the dual-use category, the IAEA was
empowered only to monitor the use of this explosive by the Iraqis. If
it was used to implode uranium of course it would be in violation of the
resolutions. But the US...well, remember the aluminum tubes? Why does
the US insist that the tubes are a nuclear proliferation issue and the
explosives not? But that's the trouble with lying...one lie leads to
another, and eventually it gets real messy. Let's see how this one
plays out. My prediction is that pretty soon we're going to hear more
about the HMX and RDX content of the bombs used against the UN building
in Iraq, and Jordanian Embassy, and the numerous car bombs, and so on.

But if anyone would just stop and think for a moment, they would know
with certainty that Bush, again, is lying. Say the ordinance was
removed from QaQaa before the US arrived. A fleet of 40 18 wheelers
hauling it out of Saddam's #1 ammo dump while the US had Iraq under
tight surveillance. The idea of the US missing that is actually a worse
indictment for incompetence than the looting theory, all things
considered. Remember, the arms inspector's verified that the ordinance
was under IAEA seal on March 8th of 2003. The White House is claiming
that it was gone by April 10th, when the 101st Airborne passed through
al QaQaa. But the 3rd Infantry Engineers found the explosives where
they were supposed to be a week earlier on April 4. So that's a window
of 6 days when 40 18 wheelers belonging to Saddam supposedly hauled the
ordinance out of al QaQaa UNDER THE NOSE OF THE MOST POWERFUL MILITARY
ON THE PLANET. Come on, guys. The explosives were pilferred by looters
who had enjoyed an open house at al QaQaa. There's no other explanation.
