Moral Blackmail --- The Israel Lobby is bringing out the big guns |
April 3, 2006
Israel and Moral Blackmail
The Israel lobby is bringing out the big guns
excerpts from article
The reaction to a pathbreaking - or, rather, taboo-busting - study of
how and why Israel's interests came to be substituted for America's
national interests in Washington policymaking circles, "The Israel
Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy," [.pdf available at websight] by John
Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt, has confirmed, in part, its thesis
The Lobby means business: like the Mafia, which likes to make an
example of recalcitrants who fail to pay protection money, they want
people to take notice of their ruthlessness. Fear prevents debate and
a real debate is what the Lobby can least afford.

*****'em. With any luck, a hail of Shahab IV missiles will make that a
moot point.

Well, I doubt that the Mullahs would actually be so stupid as to
initiate a nuke confontation with Israel despite Ahmadinejad's
rhetoric in response to the Bush Administration's aggressive
and public rhetoric. (Both aimed at their respective domestic
audiences.)
I'm guessing the Shahab IV missles etc. are for the purpose of
deterence to the Bush administration's policy of regime change.
At any rate (at the risk of being screamed at by neurasthenic
nitwits who would call me "antisemitic") : I can live with the
nuclear standoff since I don't live in the Middle East.

Who said anything about "initiating" a confrontation with IsReeL? If
the jooz lay a finger on Persia, they will get what has long been coming
to them.

They are the counterpoint to Jericho II. A mutual assured destruction
situation already exists, in case you didn't know it. Iran is
well-prepared to follow thru on Ahmadinejad's threats.
Google Iran+WMD and check out what you find.

LOL, and I can live with a Middle East that is Judenfrei.
