WHINE from the Cellar. GAS is escaping from "Little Green Footballs"
and contributes to "Hot-Air". You'd have to laugh at how those idiots
can get a hard-on for a distant Oil Tanker in an otherwise pretty
California coastline. One commenter asks "What's with those fake cans?"
They're TRASH CANS YOU IDIOT! Try using one by throwing yourself IN
one. Help keep our planet clean....
Are all you Rightards that stupid?
Read on! They're FUNNY!

Having only seen the clip that Charles linked for us, I'm very
impressed at President Bush's ability to poke fun at himself -- in a
way that completely skewers his critics without them realizing it.
As for Stephen Colbert, his mission at the correspondent's dinner was
to roast the President. He was just too ham-handed in his approach
(probably because of his leftist bias). Flubbing the glass-half-empty
joke put him off his stride, but the "standing on things" joke came off
as too disrespectful and too dismissive of the role of a President in
rallying the nation with just those types of photo-ops.
His sin wasn't the leftism, it was much worse, the cardinal sin of a
comedian: he wasn't funny.

Huh. went to google for Stephen Colbert. Still don't know who he is. Is
he like Jon Stewart, daily show kinda thing?
Colbert (The Colbert Report) follows John Stewart on The Comedy Channel
on week nights. Oddly, I watched both for the first time during the
past couple of weeks. Af first, I thought Colbert was a sort of
right-wing counter to Stewart's left-wing. But I've only watched the
two about three times, so I'm not sure.
I found both funny at times. Colbert doesn't pronounce the r's in
Colbert or Report, lol.

I'd rather have my thumbs crushed than spend a millisecond watching
Stephen Colbert.

I watched Stephen Colbert for a while and found his jokes to be ...
well, I can't really answer that, because as far as I could tell there
were no jokes. Was that guy supposed to be funny? You could have fooled
me.
The left is pretty much devoid of humor. In a related note, Scientists
claim there is a direct link between one's intelligence and their sense
of humor.

WTF was looney Clooney doing there? He's nobody! He must have just
been there to pick up Bush bashing tips from the looney left media nuts.

I saw Colbert's show "Colbert Report" once. The name Colbert is
pronounced "Coal-Bear" with the T silent. So he pronounces the title of
the the show as "Coal-Bear Re-Por". I thought that was the funniest
part.--
