DENVER - The Colorado State Patrol has found more than 100
suspected illegal immigrants in six accidents and two traffic stops
over the past two days.
Tuesday's first incident happened around 6:30 a.m. when a van rolled
on Highway 6 at I-76 near Brush. There were 16 suspected illegal
immigrants in the van, according to officials.
Then just after 7 a.m., a Chevy Suburban was involved in a rollover
near Seibert, Colo. on I-70. There were ten people inside the vehicle
at the time.
Tuesday's third crash happened on I-76 near Brush just after 8 a.m.
when another Chevy Suburban rolled. There were four people in the
vehicle.
The fourth crash also happened on I-76 near Brush when a van carrying
12 people rolled over.
No one was injured or hospitalized in any of these crashes, according
to CSP. However, all of the people involved were taken into custody by
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Also Tuesday, troopers on the Western Slope stopped two separate Chevy
Astro Vans an hour apart in which they found a total of 31 suspected
illegals.
State troopers stopped one of the vans just before 8 a.m. on I-70 near
Glenwood Springs. There were 20 suspected illegals inside. About an
hour later and 50 miles east on I-70, near Wolcott, troopers pulled
over the other van will 11 suspected illegals inside.
These six incidents come a day after two other crashes involving
suspected instances of human smuggling. Twenty-five suspected illegal
immigrants were taken into federal custody Monday, after a van and a
semi-truck collided on I-76 near Brush.
Authorities say all 25 fled the scene and ran to a McDonald's in
Brush, where they were captured.
In Monday's other incident another Chevy Suburban rolled over on I-70
near Strasburg. Seventeen suspected illegal immigrants were taken into
custody. One of them was transported to Aurora South Medical Center
with minor injuries.

If the illegal aliens were all expelled, the only bad drivers left in
the USA would be Cheney and Bush.
