3)his confused mind and confused upbringing....
notes:-
a very insecure home life with his mother's first husband leaving
(hawaii) around the age of 2yo and his indonesian muslim step
father (age ~5-10) leaving by the age of 10....whence being
parked with his american grandparents....
his mother was a sociology type who like to move around...
his white relations...mother and grandparents who primarily raised
him are from a unitarian background....this is a sort of christian
sect that doesn't believe jesus is god but a prophet and regards
regular christianist groups as polytheist...a view fairly
congruent with some islamic inclinations
he is not an african-american but half nigerian and half white
american...but he has strongly identified himself as a *black*
american to the extent of joining a church that is determinedly
black....and which appears to have black islam links such as
farrakan...
yet he continually promotes himself as bridging gaps between
black and white and everything else!
he claims to understand islamics yet promotes himself as a 'christian'
while minimising his contact in the past with islam
