KERBALA, Iraq (Reuters) - At least seven Iraqi civilians and police were
killed and 80 wounded when insurgents attacked government buildings and

Officials has earlier said at least four members of a Polish-led

These's been some controversey about that phrase "major combat
operations". Some sources say the adjective "major" was not there
when bush first gave the speech but months later, when americans were
still dying, the word was added to transcripts of the speech.

Of course, since your alias tells us, we know you are pissing into the wind. (You
must be getting a lot in your face!)
"Major operations" involve minimally 'battalion' strength or greater. (Battalion=
1,200+; Division= 21,000±). What we are seeing, are actions involving company
strength (90-120) down to squad (10). So don't get your shirt all knotted up, nobody
pays much attention to you anyway.

Bush's lies have made him look bad without my help.
How many US soldiers have been killed and wounded since Bush declared major
combat operations over? How many Iraqis have lost their lives and been
wounded?

It seems to have been landing in yours since you have responded with the
desire to deceive your readers.

You must be one of the "nobody"s who don't pay attention.
Bush's speech writers were able to frame Bush's speech carefully enough to
avoid a complete lie, but the Bush administriaton is still guilty of sending
America's youth to fight a war they themselves avoided doing so in the past.
Since you have access to pertinent statistics tell our readers how many
American soldiers have been killed and wounded since Bush made his statement
about major operations. IT is clear to all but those who want to deny
reality that major combat operations continue in Iraq.
While you're at it tell our readers where Iraq's WMD and ties to
international terrorism have not materialized?

A pattern of deception
A hard truth appears to have escaped the notice of the public and received
scant attention from the media: Bush is the first president in American
history to use deceptive propaganda as his main means of communications in
selling his policies. His pattern of deception continues unabated and in
direct conflict with the notion of the public's informed consent that is
central to American democracy.
