MYTH - Illegal Aliens Pay Taxes (Read this and you'll understand why this is a myth) |
Regarding the myth that "illegal aliens pay taxes":
When an illegal alien works in the USA, there are two scenarios:
Scenario I - He/she is paid in cash. In this case, he/she is obviously
paying NO income tax, nor is his dirtbag employer.
Scenario II - An illegal alien employee files a W-4 with phony
documents/SS number. This is the situation that all the latino
activists like to jump on and say, "see, undocumented workers DO pay
taxes". *****. It is a well known tactic to simply claim enough
dependents so that no taxes are paid or hardly anything is deducted
from their paycheck (and illegals use this tactic very well). Not to
mention the fact that the illegal alien has commited identity theft.

indirectly. They pay:
- sales tax
- gasoline tax
- property tax (built into rents)
- payroll tax

Those of us who ARE paying taxes are also paying for the free healthcare
aliens receive once
they're able to infiltrate the system.
Once they're knocked up in Mexico and make it here 9 months later.....

jobs that would hire these illegals, they would not come.
So, here's the simple solution: Monday morning at zero-dark-thirty, how
about you two True American Patriots, show up at your local day-laborer
pickup point and be first in line. When a contractor drives up looking for
someone to shovel *****, scrub toilets, pick tomatoes, carry drywall, or cut
grass, you two True American Patriots jump up in the back of the truck and
go to work. Do that every day from here on out.
That way, you'll accomplish two objectives: You'll knock two illegals out
of work, thus sending them back to Mexico, and, you won't have to pay taxes
on your income.

If there were no employers looking to get an employee for half wages that he
didn't have to pay any payroll taxes
or benefits on, they would not come.

long time. FYI, temporary help/labor can be found easily at "Temp
Agencies"... of which there are thousands around the country. This is
the legal way to do it. Taxes are paid and many of the full time temp
employees even get some health care benefits from the temp agency.

Legitimate contractors don't hire illegals. Most are hired by small
outfits that do shitty work in the first place and are trying to save
a buck anyway they can. Around here we have quite a few general
contractors that will not hire any subcontractor that employs illegal
immigrants. Mainly for insurance purposes.
It's only a drop in the bucket though.
Personaly instead of a guest worker program or simply rounding them up
and sending them back(after which they will turn around and be back
within a week or two) take their asses in. Fill out all of the proper
paperwork. Get them into the system and tax the ***** out of them like
the rest of us poor working slobs. Now they aren't illegal anymore
and are just as pissed as everyone else when they get their check. LOL

Well, my firm, for example has a lot of gov't contracts as well as
many major private ones. We have to provide documentation on each
employee and everyone here has to pass a background check.
..We are nothing more than a high tech electrical contractor.
The Local electrical workers union doesn't allow for illegals either.
(needless to say really)
The only contractors in this area(and granted there are quite a few)
that do hire them are small outfits that do primarily residential and
small commercial projects where there are very few restrictions.
You see our Democratic led state government ruled a few years back
that it wasn't really fair to require all electricians, plumbers etc
to carry a license. So they dropped the licensing requirements to the
company in regards to the employees. Now only the company has to be
licensed and they can hire anyone they want to do the job whether
qualified or not. The only requirements for any certification or
licensing comes mainly from project specifications.
Most of us that work large projects put a large dent in the illegal
worker influx by reporting the contractors that showed up with a
truckload of illegals on the job. DNS actually showed up and took
people in and levied fines in several cases. If American workers
called and reported these incidences instead of working in the field
with the illegals and bitching about it you'd see fewer of them
working in the construction industry at least.
Folks keep making comments about cheap construction labor and all when
the truth of the matter is that they are disasters waiting to happen.
Illegals don't give a ***** about safety and from personal experience
they resent anyone trying to tell them anything in that regards.
We've seen people killed because the illegal drywall installers on a
new church stacked over 2 tons of drywall in one spot on the second
floor. It collapsed. (4 x 8 sheets stacked to the ceiling/) They said
they didn't know it wouldn't support the weight (via interpreter).
Even if we were inclined to hire illegals if you look at the savings
versus the potential costs and risks it just isn't worth it to a large
contractor.
