Nader says IMPEACH BUSH |
So much for the theory that Nader is funded by the GOP
http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/president/2004-04-06-nader-bush_x.htm
CHICAGO (AP) — Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader called
Tuesday for President Bush to be impeached for "deceiving the American
people night after night after night" about U.S. involvement in Iraq.
"When you plunge our country into war on a platform of fabrications
and deceptions, and you bring back thousands of American soldiers who
are sick, injured or dead, and that war is unconstitutionally
authorized to begin with, Mr. Bush's behavior qualifies for the high
crimes and misdemeanor impeachment clause of the Constitution," the
2000 Green Party presidential nominee said to applause from about 200
students at Columbia College Chicago.
Nader said President Clinton was impeached for "far less of an
offense."
"Lying under oath is not a trivial offense, but it cannot compare with
deceiving the American people night after night after night on
national television, staging untruths and rejecting the advice of his
advisers," he said.

Are you kidding! The GOP would rather Bush lose and keep control of
congress. As things look now they are hedging their bets since it is no
longer a sure thing that he and they will stay in control. I have great
faith in the American people and believe that unless those in control fix
the election we will soon be returning to a balanced and more sane
government.
DKat ....
I thought I had you blocked... curious...I'll have to fix that....

I too have wondered if perhaps the GOP wants bush to lose. Then, with
the help of their toadies in the press, they can blame the dems for
the iraq war and the budget deficits . The republicans work best when
they are on the outside howling.

Another negative to this would be that Bush Limbo would stay on the
radio for 4 or 8 more years squawking and cackling. Not unless he gets
canned for being a drug dealer and addict....

I suspect limbaugh would like to see bush lose. Railing against
clinton is what made him the billionaire he is. Like all repugs he is
good only at attacking.
