Nancy Pelosi a closet arms dealer |
So um, is Nancy Pelosi a closet arms dealer? [UPDATED]
I thought Nancy was a dirty hippy peacenik, but apparently she is even more
extreme than President Bush when it comes to weapons development.
As Jim Geraghty points out, Nancy Pelosi secured $4 million for developing a
"novel viral biowarfare agent".
Surely that violates some sort of biochemical weapons treaty that Nancy
probably waved in front of the Reagan White House in her younger days.
[UPDATE:] Jim just emailed to tell me that the news service that originally
reported this (the mayor of NYC's company) has modified its story. The
earmark will be used to combat viruses used in warfare, not actually create
them. It would have helped if they said that the first time.

Eight years before 9/11, on Feb. 26, 1993, Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida
terrorist network declared war against the United States with a deadly
attack on the World Trade Center. Al-Qaida continued to wage war on the U.S.
throughout the Clinton administration, attacking Khobar Towers in 1996, two
U.S. embassies in East Africa in 1998, and the U.S.S. Cole in 2000.

Explain to everyone here, why YOU are not in the military fighting in Iraq
yourself? And I don't want to here the typical chickenhawk whine of "I'm too
young" "I'm too old" "I've already served" lies...If you support Bush, go
get killed for your hero, don't let others die for you.

Your own post seems to contradict your Subject Line. I'm referring to the
last paragraph beginning with UPDATE.
For the Dope-ster, it is business as usual.

Why did you think that?
Are you mentally retarded?

Or had you avoided being a knee-jerk jackass who doesn't read what you
yourself post.
Damn, you unAmerican right-wing radicals are stupid. It's a good thing that
you and your twisted sociopathic values are on the fringes of society, far,
far from the mainstream.

She really ought to keep her guns in a gun safe, not a closet.
