NASA photo analyst: Bush wore a device during debate
Physicist says imaging techniques prove the president's bulge was not
caused by wrinkled clothing.
By Kevin Berger
George W. Bush tried to laugh off the bulge.
"I don't know what that is," he said on "Good Morning America" on
Wednesday, referring to the infamous protrusion beneath his jacket
during the presidential debates.
"I'm embarrassed to say it's a poorly tailored shirt."
Dr. Robert M. Nelson, however, was not laughing.
He knew the president was not telling the truth.
And Nelson is neither conspiracy theorist nor midnight blogger.
He's a senior research scientist for NASA and for Caltech's Jet
Propulsion Laboratory, and an international authority on image
analysis.
Currently he's engrossed in analyzing digital photos of Saturn's moon
Titan, determining its shape, whether it contains craters or canyons.

Update 2: Latest news on Bulgegate, story evolving fast
Update 2: Latest news on Bulgegate, story evolving fast
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
The BULGEGATE story is evolving faster by the day.
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Don't know the story? Get up to speed:
President Bush had a RECTANGULAR bulge on his back. Its been called
"Bulgegate" and the "The
Bush Bulge" and it has appeared in all the of the 2004 Presidential debates.
It has also
appeared in photos not related to the debates. Now two wires have appeared
and, as of today,
no explanation has been offered for that. The "bulge" has been called a
"badly tailored shirt"
by the President -the same shirt in all 3 debates, mind you.
Rather than following up on the "3 bad shirts theory", it seems the media
accepts the President
has a wardrobe full of them. Do we have a transmitter, defibrillator,
Wireless IV device, or
something else?
Is there a wire or a health problem (Busk skipped his physical, even
mentioned he was healthy
in the debates).
Does he need an earpiece to debate 'his own' policies?
The "Seinfeld Democracy"
--------------------------------------------------------
- Who's that man with the box on his back?
- Oh, that's our president.
- What is it?
- We don't know. I mean -- we may or may not be able to know.
------------------------------------------------------------
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
In the last 48 hours we have the following developments:
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Salon.com has published an article on the same day I published an article
which points out
photo enhancements and exposes a wire leading from the bulge on the
President's back.
Read both accounts here:
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2004/10/29/bulge/index_np.html
http://bulgegate.blogspot.com/ (test the theory for yourself!)
Puppetstring has been updated with a comment I grabbed from Colin Green at:
http://www.journalscape.com/Colin/2004-10-29-11:02
"
If we follow this theory through the bulge would be the receiver/relayer,
the wire up the right
shoulder is to an inductance loop, perhaps in his collar, and it also looks
to me that there is
a wire travelling down his back, which would correspond to the wire seen
behind his tie. This
wire that we can see is actually quite prominent by way of its thickness,
say 5mm. Such
thickness would only normally be used to convey power - from a battery pack
somewhere on his
person, to the receiver on his back. Also note that the tie wire disappears
into the left hand
side of Bush's jacket - the same side as the wire seen down his lower back.
"
Goto and scroll to the bottom:
http://puppetstring.blogspot.com/2004/10/was-there-wire-behind-that-tie_23.html#comments
......................................
Cannonfire has been very busy also, saying that "I have just received
private word from someone
in a position to know that a former president also used a "wire," in much
the same way alleged
in the case of G.W. Bush."
Read more here:
http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/2004/10/presidential-precedent-new-info.html
......................................
At BushWired you can get an even more detailed account of all the news and
see new photographic
evidence posted today:
http://bushwired.blogspot.com/2004/10/few-fresh-updates-official-debunking.html#comments
....................................................
We close with a comment from another bulge follower:
"
I've had a lot of people say -- "There's so many other policy issues to talk
about."
I explain to them that -- Just because it's not a policy issue, doesn't mean
it's not
important. Health and leadership ability is just as important for the
electorate.
....
Also, a lot of people say -- "Why are you guys so angry about this?"
....
To combat this apathy about this story, I said:
Never have the lies been so obvious. Never has the lack of integrity in the
mainstream media
been so clear.
....
This "bulge" issue is symbolic of what American politics and democracy has
become.
A joke.
....
I'm hoping that something this blatantly obvious will get Americans to start
thinking about the
state in which the country is in.
1000's of people died for a war partly because the media didn't do it's job
and report the
whole truth.
Here, we have only ONE truth. A simple truth. Perhaps a very important truth
about the
character or health of a President. It's being hidden -- and the President
thinks we're fools!
It's uncluttered from politics -- you just need 2 eyes.
And yet the President says 2 + 2 = 5 and the U.S. media says, "Yes sir, it
is!"
"

OLD, OLD subject. Democrats are desperate.
To the point, Hairy. Nearly the same image quality. I still see a wrinkled
shirt. Yes! I consider myself an expert having spent months cleaning up
images, several times in my life. Your NASA scientist may be getting
old....
1. They, NASA, FBI, CIA, etc, etc, have access to tranceivers the size of
a grain of rice. Why not implant one directly inside the President inner
ear? Just one of hundreds of options.
2. If he was wired up, why did Bush do so badly?
So boring, so tiring, Hairy.
Please go back to your other favorite subjects.
Thanks, I needed a nap!

No, this is true.
I have studied image enhancement as well, see:
http://bulgegate.blogspot.com/
That analysis was published the same day as salon
You are debunking something you know is true. Be fair to others.
