The Navy is unwittingly bowing down to anti-religious expression
political correctness by attacking free speech in the name of the
non-existant constitutional principal of absolute church-state
separation:
"One of the amendments to the Constitution... expressly declares that
'Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press,' thereby guarding in the same sentence and
under the same words, the freedom of religion, of speech, and of the
press; insomuch that whatever violates either throws down the sanctuary
which covers the others." --Thomas Jefferson: Draft Kentucky
Resolutions, 1798. ME 17:382
Again, not only did Jefferson, Mr. "wall of separation" himself,
regularly attend worship services held in the hall of the House of
Representatives at the Nation's Capitol, he also authorized the US
Marine Band to provide music for worship services held in other
government buildings as well.
But I will also note that regardless that free speech is being
unconstitutionally attacked, Jesus himself taught his followers not to
pray in public as evidenced by Matthew 6:5-7.

Nonsense
A chaplain is a member of the military
Military personell MUST follow orders---
A chaplain serves ALL faiths, not just his personal
one.
Don't be stupid, Freddie.

Tell that to the soldiers who got court-martialed for abusing prisoners
in the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.

How do you know they weren't following orders?
I think you haven't much ability to think critically,
Freddie
Else you wouldnt be out in some god-forsaken left field
in your ideas.

Basic reading skills and common sense are a major bottleneck where
encouraging treasonous, anti-religious expression interpretations of
the Constitution are concerned these days, aren't they?

Explain why the definition of "is", "shall" and "must"
occupied such lengthy court cases throughout legal
history? They were contained in legislation, court
dicta and other documents---and were subject to
interpretation.
If those "small" words were subject to interpretation,
why do you think that someone like you would have the
ability to just "read" the constitution and make a
determination based on YOUR reading?
