I'm working on a new version of the Pledge of Allegience that will more
accurately reflect the current realities in the USA, and that will also
unite this nation (since the current Pledge is very controversial,
according to the truth-sayers at FoxNews, who would never try to
deflect our attention towards irrelevant "issues"). Being a devout
Christian (not a Crasstian) I prefer the second one. Any advice is
appreciated, but I think it's important to make sure that Republicans
are content with it, and so again, number two is probably best. Right?
1. I pledge allegience, to the Halliburton Corporation, and to the
profits for which it stands, one banana republic, under Cheney's
control, highly divisible, with sound bites and scapegoats for all.
Or:
2. I pledge allegience, to the Halliburton Corporation, and to the
profits for which it stands, one banana republic, that angers God,
highly divisible, with sound bites and scapegoats for all.
