Neocon competence |
I think the neocons have shown their naivete in ten ways:
1. they predicted the Iraqis would greet Americans soldiers with
kisses and roses.
2. they underestimated the size of the occupation force needed,
ignoring Pentagon advice.
3. They claimed that weapons of mass destruction would be found and
they were not.
4. They had no plan in place for installing democracy.
5. They underestimated the ability of Iraqis to sabotage -- $7
billion a day back in August according to Paul Bremer.
6. They underestimate the total cost of the war and the occupation.
7. They did not foresee the probability of civil war.
8. They did not for see that the majority Shiites would demand sharia
(an Islamic theocracy) if given a democratic choice. At least Saddam
was more secular.
9. There is no oil flowing.
10. They blithely ignored advice from more experienced people on all
these matters.
The problem is the neocons are a bunch of academics without military,
political or diplomatic experience. They fell prey to their own
wishful thinking. Team spirit groupthink stopped them from
reexamining for holes in their plans. They were hopelessly optimistic.
They have proved their incompetence. They should resign en masse.

In fact, they amde the mistake they're so quick to proclaim in everyone
else; they're blinded by ideology. These grey men truly believe they're
morally infallible. Fortunately, cracks are beginning to show in the
right-wing coalitions.

Could you explain what you mean by that. How does one act "communist
style"
1. wear a large fur hat.
2. get drunk on vodka.
3. work at a large bureaucracy for almost no pay.
4. claim that everyone should get as much as they want and nobody.
should have to do any work, not even the poor robots.
5. say that it is wicked to kill children.

I think the neocons have shown their naivete in ten ways:
The problem is the neocons are a bunch of academics without military,
political or diplomatic experience. They fell prey to their own
wishful thinking. Team spirit groupthink stopped them from
reexamining for holes in their plans. They were hopelessly optimistic.
They have proved their incompetence. They should resign en masse.
In fact, they amde the mistake they're so quick to proclaim in everyone
else; they're blinded by ideology. These grey men truly believe they're
morally infallible. Fortunately, cracks are beginning to show in the
right-wing coalitions.
There are no cracks anywhere.
It's the pressure and the tricks you commies put on whoever is not on the left-side like you...
The WMD were and probably are still there hidden somewhere, the terrorist groups you commies always
help with your no-global punks it's another trick to make the Republican administration look fishy
to people. You've to play tricks and nothing else in order to change people will. You can only
insult and attack your political opponents like they were your enemies, you don't know what
democracy really is, you've no clue about it !
I agree with you... the commies are poisoning peoples mind with their
anti demcratic ideas. I think the president is not going to get a fair
vote this coming election. It is right time for the president to
cancel the election. A majority of god fearing, patriotic and
democracy loving american will support such action.
god bless america.....

Did it ever occur to you that canceling an election is the ULTIMATE
undemocratic idea? Who put this into YOUR head?

No, I'm not.
There's a conspiracy there. I bet that there are many militaries and secret agents doing their best
to not deliver the truth and simply because they usually vote for the Democratic party and they've
been ordered to not obey Bush orders but their political party only and so to not disclose what they
really found there. They can't be just a few to be able to hide things so much and make any proof
disappear.
Also I think that what it's not mantained hidden has been moved somewhere else by terrorist groups
that probably those some unprofessional commies-minded guys have allowed to.
The WMD were there, might still be there and it's a disgrace that there are so many hidden powers
working to conceal the truth just to let the Democrats get back in charge.
All terrorists worldwide are supporting Democrats and are afraid of Bush being re-elected, that
surely means even more than anything else....
