Netanyahu vs Hamas |
One foreseeable consequence of this election, is that it makes Benjamin
Netanyahu's position much stronger inside of Israel. Netanyahu will,
if in power, exercise a heavy hand in response to any more of the
assaults, which are are sure to come now that Hamas is in charge and
free to carry them out. In many ways, his job will be simpler, now
that he need not pretend that he has anyone to negotiate with.

Hardly, but then that's the nature of the political beast in Israel -
political squabbles insted of leadership. As long as the Israeli
people tolerate government patterned along the lines of a peculiarly
noisy synagogue, the government will remain disorganized and defined by
its many rifts and byzantine coalitions. Nobody is stronger in that
situation because everybody's weak.

Netanyahu fans can always talk about what they "would" do. In that
respect, they are little different than the contributors of usenet
threads.

I can see the signs: "It's an easier job this time!!"

You know nothing about history, damn it!
Don't mess with Israel, this time. A fourth war will turn all middleeast
countries into a Jew land.
You should have known this by now, if not, I presume you are a High School
dropout!
