Let's take a quick look at the way the media framed Mehlman's cryfest.
Bear in mind that this "story" was nothing more than the head of the
RNC saying something dumb about Democrats - not exactly an unusual
occurrence.
But you wouldn't know that if you saw the front page of Netscape News
(or the Netscape section on CNN's website) last week - check this out:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/img/06/0310_netscape2.gif
Oh my God, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry have been indicted!
Uh, not really.
It turns out that the "indictment" Netscape News was trumpeting was
actually Ken Mehlman "launching a broad indictment of the Democratic
Party."
http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/story.jsp?idq=/ff/story/0001/20060310/1055333328.htm&sc=1155
Now obviously that's a bit different from, say, Rep. Tom DeLay being
indicted for conspiracy and money laundering,
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/09/28/AR2005092800270.html
or Rep. Duke Cunningham being indicted for bribery and corruption,
http://www.latimes.com/business/la-me-duke29nov29,0,7903329.story?coll=la-home-business
or Chief of Staff to the Vice President Lewis "Scooter" Libby being
indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice,
http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/10/28/leak.probe/ or "Bush Pioneer"
Tom Noe being indicted for theft and forgery,
http://www.columbusdispatch.com/news-story.php?story=166155 or
Republican super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff being indicted for conspiracy
and wire fraud,
http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/08/11/abramoff.indictment/
or... well, you get the picture.
Nice job at muddying the waters though, Netscape News.

Hey Harry, The overwhelming majority of the media has been doing that
for years against conservatives and now your bitching and complaining
about a little headline from Netscape. What are you telling us that the
media is helping out the GOP? Check out Yahoo. Talk about the complete
Bush bashing. They don't even hide it. They make sure that it's in the
front of their homepage. Get serious!

CONSIDERING THE SORRY STATE OF THE U.S. AND THE WHOLE LOT OF REPUBLISCUMS
IN JAIL OR ON THE WAY TO IT, THE MEDIA WAS RIGHT TO DO IT TO THE RETARDS.
SHALL I MENTION CONSERVATIVE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY AND THE GIGANTIC RECORD
DEFICIT CREATED BY THE RETARDINCHIEF? FROM A SURPLUS CREATED BY DEMS?
OR THE HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS WASTED ON AN UNNECESSARY WAR BASED ON LIES?
OR THE HOMELAND SECURITY ARRESTING DRUG GANG MEMBERS USING POWERS
GIVEN TO THEM TO FIGHT TERRORISTS WHILE BIN LADEN AND ZARQAWI ARE
BROADCASTING TAPE OVER TAPE MAKING FUN OF BUSH?
WHILE OUR PAKISTANI FRIENDS ARREST OVER AND OVER THE SECOND IN COMMAND
FOR A FEW YEARS ALREADY? PLUS BIN LADEN'S DOG AND SHEEP?
WHILE FEMA'S HEAD NAMED BY BOZO IS A FORMER ARABIAN HORSE ASSociation
president
and makes US look like a 3rd world country during Katrina?
WHILE OIL PRICES WENT THROUGH THE ROOF AND ALL OILY PEOPLE GOT RICH?
WHILE HARRIS QUITS THE RACE CAUSE SHE GOT CAUGHT ACCEPTING DIRTY MONEY?
CUNNINGHAM WORSE THAN A MAFIA BOSS
OHIO RETARDS
AND SO ON ...
