HARTFORD --
There are new allegations facing Connecticut's former governor even as
he does time in prison.
Some democrats are wondering if Governor John Rowland broke the law
when he took consulting jobs after his resignation.
The state's Revolving Door Law says that state employees must wait one
year before taking a job with a company that does business with the
state.
Rowland took consulting jobs with two state contractors after he
resigning, which raised many eyebrows at the capitol.
Before he was sentence on federal corruption charges, the former
governor had to declare his income.
He told prosecutors he made money from two consulting jobs.
It turns out that both employers earned millions from state contracts.
Rowland made $10,000 a month from the National Science Center
Foundation.
Klewin Construction Company of Norwich signed a one year contract with
Rowland to pay him $5,000 a month for consulting work.
