[NEW] Corruption from the Clinton Administration |
Clinton Adviser Probed for Taking Terror Memos
.... President Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger, is
the ... Berger has been told he is the subject of the criminal
investigation, Breuer said. ...
Berger's home and office were searched earlier this year by FBI agents
armed with warrants after he voluntarily returned documents to the
U.S. National Archives. However, some drafts of a sensitive
after-action report on the Clinton administration's handling of
al-Qaida terror threats during the December 1999 millennium
celebration are still missing.
Berger and his lawyer said Monday night he
'''knowingly removed handwritten notes'''
he had made while reading classified anti-terror
documents he reviewed at the archives by
sticking them in his jacket and pants.
He also 'inadvertently' took copies of
actual classified documents in a leather portfolio, they said.

OH! OK, I see. First he accidently put some documents in his
pockets's, and then he puts some in his leather portfolios....
Later Sandy Berger was heard hissing these words under his breath,
"But they were my documentss, yes my Precious, the mean old
Hobbits Bush took them, he stole them, my Precious, my documentss.
We must give them to the Witch Queen before she hurtss us again, my
Preciousss, my documentsss"

Sandy Berger Contradicts John Kerry on the Iraq/al-Qaida Connection
'''When they worked for the Clinton administration, Kerry advisers
Sandy Berger and Jamie Rubin argued that Iraq helped al Qaida make
deadly VX gas at a Sudanese pharmaceutical plant - an argument they
used to justify President Clinton's decision to take out the facility
in an Aug. 20, 1998, cruise missile attack.
In a 1998 op-ed to the Washington Times, then National Security
Advisor Berger defended the attack on Khartoum's al Shifa
pharmaceutical plant, contending:
"Other products [besides VX gas] were made at Al Shifa. But we have
seen such dual-use plants before - in Iraq. And, indeed, we have
information that Iraq has assisted in chemical weapons activity in
Sudan."
As State Department spokesman at the time, Rubin and his boss,
Madeleine Albright, backed Berger's position on the attacks.
On Friday, Weekly Standard editor Stephen Hayes, who first noted the
Kerry-Berger/Rubin contradiction, confronted Rubin on the issue during
an interview on CNBC.
The Kerry adviser admitted that "Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein
played footsie with each other," but he insisted that ultimately "they
came to a decision, and the decision was 'We are not going to become
allies.'"

Wow, he removed his _own_ handwritten notes that he had made? Has he no
shame?

He's not allowed to remove copies of classified documents, even if
the copies are in his own hand.
It's hard to imagine how someone as smart as Sandy Berger could have
made a mistake like this. Otoh, he (or his boss) had nothing to
gain by his action.
He also 'inadvertently' took copies of
actual classified documents in a leather portfolio, they said.

I wonder why a story about an investigation that began months ago
and has not yet resulted in formal criminal charges suddenly pops up
in the news media now?

Then you wonder why Bush's military records are missing. I would say this
was part of a plan to make him look bad -whenever it came up in the future.
HRH is noted for such antics.
Tampering with official records is bad enough. Surreptitiously removing them
on one's chubby person under clothing is an entirely different thing.
Berger could be one of them sell-out guys working on the sly for al Queda.
The possibilities are unlimited.

Sir, when you're part of that same crowd which managed to cop almost a
thousand FBI files and make them reappear like magic, ***** like Berger
pulled off is child's play.
Clearly his liaison with Hillary broke down somewhere, otherwise the
entire National Archive would have been emptied.
Pretty astonishing stuff when one reflects on the fact that during
Watergate, where Hillary herself went after Nixon like a crazed Pit
Bull on crystal meth, one guy went to prison for grabbing just "two"
FBI files - and this dame grabbed a truckload of 'em! Ah, she lived to
accomplish great things, eh? Wonder why she didn't take Vince along
for the ride?

Bush's Military Records were probably
accidentally
STUCK DOWN SOMEONES PANTS
just like the Documents in the new Trouser Gate Scandal
maybe Sandy Burgler has them too!
