The news media was happy to report about former NFL star Pat Tillman
when he quit his high paying football career to volunteer to fight in
the war on terrorism, but they have not been so quick to report about
the suspicious circumstances of his death. Tillman reportedly was shot
three times in his forehead from ten yards away. Now we hear that
Tillman had changed his tune about the war, had told a friend that the
Iraq war was "illegal," had contacted anti-war activist Noam Chomsky,
and was ready to return home to become a spokesman against the wars he
had once endorsed. Retired General Wesley Clark reportedly told Keith
Olbermann that the orders for Tillman's execution had come from "the
very top" of the US government. See
