PETA Tells Kids to Run From Daddy

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, has begun a
campaign to scare children into becoming vegetarians.
The group, which formed to stop animal testing of consumer products
but made its name by attacking women in fur coats with fake blood, is
producing comic books that portray fathers as homicidal maniacs.
The handout, titled "Your Daddy Kills Animals," features a grinning
lunatic gutting a fish, and warns kids to keep their puppies and
kittens away from Dad because he's "hooked on killing."

I have no words to actually describe just what I think of these
people....oh, wait, yes I do...ASSHOLES!!!
Trying to make children fear their parents isn't very nice now, is it?
I wish them luck up here in hunting country. I admit to liking some
vegetarian cuisine, but my husband is a die-hard carnivore...as he puts
it, "vegetables are what food eats."
Our child understands that some animals become food. PETA can go snort
pop rocks.

huner/fishermen love torturing animals and probably are the same with
kids.

No it isn't nice but that doesn't make it wrong either. A lot of

A lot of other people out there enjoy torturing animals, why just pick
on hunters and fishers? How 'bout, oh, what's his name? The
congressman who picked up stray cats at animal shelters and dissected
them? And then went on to become a doctor? I'm much more worried
about guys like him than I am about someone who shoots a deer and has
venison for the winter.
On top of the garbage in the media that tries to make us fear
everything and everyone, do you really think kids need to be taught to
fear their parents too? Home should be a refuge, not a prison. Kids
should feel safe in their home. If there are issues at home, that's
another story. Demonizing hunters/fishers is utterly stupid.
