New Poll: Giuliani Would Trounce Hillary for President
I don't doubt this folks, Rudy has the star power to compete with Hillary
and most of all, he could take New York's electoral votes which would end it
all right there in a run in 08. Personally, I think he knows that. If not
New York, he could also take New Jersey, which would also most likely
torpedo Hillary.
Rudy Giuliani would beat Hillary Clinton in a race for the White House in
2008, the latest Gallup poll reveals.
The former New York City mayor received a favorable rating of 64 percent
in the poll, with Sen. Clinton a distant second at 53 percent. Sen. John
McCain tallied 51 percent and Sen. John Kerry got just 42 percent.
Face to face, both Republicans top Clinton by a margin of 50 percent to 40
percent, and rout Kerry by a 54-to-41 percent margin.
The survey found that Clinton's unfavorable rating of 43 percent was
nearly twice as high as McCain's and more than double that for Giuliani.
I've always felt that this man is the Republican with the power to take on
and defeat Hillary Clnton. The biggest problem Rudy is going to face is
dealing with social conservatives. Will he refine his views and better
explain them. Will social conservative being willing to look at his record
in NYC in dropping crime and his leadership abilities and be able to cast a
vote. Only time will tell..
My crystal ball so far tells me that this is what will happen. McCain and
Giuliani will be the big frontrunners. Senator Allen will be the
conservative choice, but won't receive enough moderate votes or money to get
himself out ahead of Rudy or McCain.
It will then come down to those two and I know that most conservatives are
going to have more of a problem voting for McCain, then they are Giuliani.
So I think as of right now, Rudy looks good.

Who cares? It's gonna be another choice between two identical
candidates and the votes will be rigged anyway.
