New Troops are Mobilization Units |
For all of the bickering and complaining, the public should be
praising the new troop mobilization. The Pentagon listed the next
troops heading to Iraq, today. From what I know of the bases, having
served in the Army, almost all of them are "rapid deployment" bases of
units that are DESIGNED for combat missions.
So, you'd think the press would praise the President for sending
active combat oriented troops to take the place of the Guard units
there....right? Wrong. They are already attacking the change, as is
the Democrats, who apparently want the Guard to stay there.
