Object: New Year's Resolution, Repeal Patriot Act.
This should be everyone's New Year's resolution for 2004:

Bush should be voted out,

The Patriot Act should be repealed,

and our Bill of Rights should be restored.

What we need to do is just inundate all our local newspapers and media
outlets, one by one, and insist that they assign all their top
correspondents to report how this Constitution-gutting piece of
legislation was passed in the first place.

What boggles the mind is that this one and only legislation from Hell is
nullifying all these amendments, the 4th, 5th, 6th & even the 14th
amendment.

I would like to know, when was the Patriot Act written? And how long
were its authors waiting for the horrific event that allowed them to
capitalize on the collective fears of the nation?

Keep pressuring our media editors relentlessly on this, because then,
and then will we see some brilliant articles on this. Articles that
will shed light on this dark and very dangerous moment in our nation's
history. And most importantly, it will help us prevent the next attack
on the Constitution before it's too late.
