Bill Gates reportedly informed attorney general Ashcroft how not to make the
top seven stupid searching mistakes while searching the internet for the
existence of al Qaeda in the United States.
Ashcroft spokesman Mark Corallo termed "flatly false" a report that the
attorney general had shown little interest in not making stupid mistakes.
Gates said there are various threads and pieces of information that can be
found if mistakes are not made. Meanwhile, Attorney General John Ashcroft
huddled under Bush's desk (where Bush thought WMD could be found) praying in
preparation for his testimony before the 9/11 commission Tuesday morning,
aides said.
