news media confession |
Despite seeing some great responses by Bush last night, I think the
most interesting part of the debate was a confession I heard in the
post-debate show by one of the network news reporters. He said that
Bush had the stronger performance, but that Kerry would likely be
pronounced the winner of the debate. I think it was ABC that said it.
I think that is all you need to hear. The network had already decided
prior to the debate who would be the winner, otherwise it would go to
the strongest debater. They were saying that Bush was stronger, but he
wouldn't win the debate. The only conclusion is that they had already
made up their mind who would sin prior to the start. This, I think, is
a very telling confession.

I watched the debate on ABC and I didn't hear that at all.
