Even if you don't like Newt, it shouldn't nullify what he said about
the fence. There is no reason it can't go up, it's a fairly mundane
engineering feat. Michael Chertoff, taking cues from his open-borders
boss, is committed to foot-dragging when he says it can't go up before
2013.

Who cares? Stopping and reversing the invasion of the USA by Mexico is

Newt lied under oath and was fined $300,000 by the House of
Representatives before he impeached Bill Clinton for lying about a blow
job. The fact that you supported him after you knew he perjured himself
seems to be the bigger problem.
Clinton only lied, Newt committed perjury.

country democratically and as we see fit. You must first comport to
the wishes of minority commerce interests, then you can have
whatever's left.
I used to like Newt a lot, he is a gifted political thinker, but it
seems he is still a product of the wealthy political elite that gave
us this problem, none of them seem capable of accepting the people's
will and just doing what we demand on this.

You hit the nail on the head! Even if we had a wall on the border
with guard towers every 2 miles, guard dogs, etc. it would be
meaningless when combined with a "Guest Worker" program. This country
would simply get flooded with legal "Guest Workers" (ie. low skilled,
non English speaking, baby machine peasants). If fact, under such a
"Guest Worker" program, there isn't much need for a wall because now
potential "migrants" have a legal way to come here .... they simply
get a "Guest Worker" card in their country of origin before they make
the journey northward and enter through Tijuna, El Paso, or whichever
border city. But the end result is the same... the USA gets flooded
with the 3rd world.
So whenever people hear idiot politicians say the cliche, "we don't
mind if people want to come to the United States, they just have to
tell us who they are".
*****!! That translates to a wide open "Guest Worker" program.
Never are we given the

built something *more* difficult and expensive at least 200 times.
