Super Tight Security at Super Bowl

MIAMI, FL -- Final preparations are underway at Dolphin Stadium for Sunday's
Super Bowl game. That includes making sure security is in place and ready to
fend off any potential problems.
An ATF bomb-sniffing dog alerts on a training device. Show and tell time on
Watson Island. On display, just small example of equipment and personnel the
feds have in town for Super Bowl security.
"We have displayed our national defense team vehicle that's deployed whenever a
major explosion happens anywhere in the country," said Carlos Baixauli, ATF
Agent.
With the Chicago Bears already on the ground and in town and the Colts so to
follow, security is ratchet up, way up. The game and surrounding area considered
a level one terror threat.
"We consider our events, particularly the Super Bowl to be so attractive and so
high profile that it would just be an attractive target for terrorist," said
Milt Ahlerich, NFL Security Chief.
So 50 state and federal law enforcement agents will be combined to keep security
high at the level one event. A no fly zone above and around the stadium. Fans
will go through magnetometers. And so tight the security, no tailgating.
"No, there has not been a single threat, nor has there been an indicator that we
are going to encounter that type of situation or problem," said Bobby Parker,
Miami-Dade Police Dept.
Coordinating the federal assistance for Homeland Security is Julie Torres.
"Hopefully, there won't be much for us to do. And hopefully nothing will happen
that will make for preparations go into motion," said Julie Torres, Dept. of
Homeland Security.

Ah! That explains why they're allowing Jews into the Super Bowl game and
