We should never forget the name of Nicola Calipari, who flung himself in
front of Guiliana Sgrena, last week, when the Americans apparently tried to
assassinate her to prevent her from publishing her anti-war articles. We
should teach that name to our children and to our grandchildren. "Greater
love hath no man than this: that a man lay down his life for his friends."

A waste of a perfectly good Italian would be more to the point.
Personal sacrifices like this always seem to mainly benefit left-wing
assholes who then go on to show how unappreciative they are by using the
poor dummy for pure political gain.
US troops were also being used for pure political purpose when all they did
was act according to their rules of engagement.
Maybe the left-wing ought to spend more time rushing check points - until
they get the proper etiquette down pat.
