Forged documents on which the British and US governments allegedly based =
their case that Iraq was seeking uranium from Niger were so crudely =
drafted that it is unlikely they would have stood up to more than a few =
hours' - or minutes' - scrutiny by any specialist, it emerged yesterday. =
The letters and paperwork, which surfaced in Italy's left of centre =
daily La Repubblica, reveal how amateurish the forgeries were. Although =
they amount to only eight pages, they contain more than a dozen easily =
checkable errors.=20
But the little president says he gets "darn good intelligence." I =
guess "any" intelligence would be "darn good" to the village idiot.

Correct. That is why MI6 didn't rely on the forged documents. They had
plenty of other very credible intelligence. Aparantly, the Frogs would
not let them release all of it to the US (officially).
The Frogs were making too much money illegally selling weapons and spare
parts to Iraq in exchenge for cheap illegal oil.

LOL. This story is nothing more than a fabrication by G. Gordon Liddy that
was adopted by Trent Lott. SURPRISE. Consider for a moment.
According to hate radio the British say they have evidence they cannot even
slip under the table to U.S. officials. They can't even invite a single
U.S. official in for tea and leave the room for a few minutes while the U.S.
official looks at the evidence. Hell, Blair cannot even show his own
Parliament the evidence while he is getting raked over the coals. That is
indeed some very high quality intelligence i.e. for Tony Blair's eyes only.
Blair has said repeatedly said are you going to believe me or your lying
eyes. That is why his credibility is the lowest in 6 years among the
British. Kind of like the magician who peeks behind the curtain and tells
you about the trick rather than showing it to you. It's not worth the price
of admission.
