Not quite true, although the ratification of the 16 amendment in1913
allowed the goverment to levey income taxes, they were being paid before
before the civil war. Also tariffs and excise taxes have been collected
since the creation of the country.

You're joking right? Income taxes started in the civil war. Before
that they taxed goods. How the hell can a country function without
collecting some money for defense and infrastructure? If we didn't have
that, the US would be just another third world country.

I would have to disagree with you. Yes there is crime in large cities, no
more than other large ones though, and the not all of the schools are as bad
as you say.
