It looks as though Ashcroft has found yet another way to hassle his
critics using the patriot act. All he has to do is put them on the
"no fly list" and those people are grounded, without any legal
recourse.
They have to take the bus or drive to get around the USA, and are
blocked from foreign travel. This makes it difficult for them to
travel from place to place to speak against him.

not think of any reason he was singled out.
I don't know him, so I can't speculate as to why he would make the
list.
It would be interesting to find out if I personally have made the
list. You don't find out until the very last second, guaranteed to
cause maximal screw up in your travel plans. But of course it is
perfectly justified to treat "terrorists" way. How else would you
discourage them?
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. When you give
Ashcroft power to hassle anyone he wants without having to provide
justification, without possibility of reprimand, of course he uses it
to hassle his enemies. That is human nature.

I double checked. You are definitely on the no-fly list. If you weren't,
I would have put you on the list.
BTW you're also on Jesus's sh*t list.
You are right though, we need to augment the no-fly list with a no-bus list.
I don't know how our no-car and no-walk list will work, but we'll have
to implement those as well.
