NO-GO Zones in Iraq means US has Failed |
The US military has established 'no-go' zones in Iraq; places where they
just don't venture.
These zones are getting bigger, and will soon join.
The zones are controlled by militants with their own armies and are not
subject to any sort of central authority, elected or not.
In short; war-lord'ism is taking over in Iraq.
US journalists are no dopes either. Americans are so unwelcome
in-country that they don't carry American passports anymore and say they
are from Sweeden or someplace. As well, they dye their hair black and
grow beards so they don't 'look' American.
This business that Rummy keeps spouting about American's not loosing
their resove is simply untrue. We are unwilling to pay the price to
clean out these no-go zones.
So, what the hell are we still doing there?
