This is taking the concept of freedom of choice to a morbid extreme. Society

Richmond Township boy takes plea for beating pregnant girlfriend's stomach
with mini-baseball bat
PUBLISHED: September 1, 2005
A Richmond Township teen attending Armada High School will serve no time
behind bars and could have a shot at clearing the conviction from his
record, after taking a plea agreement for beating his pregnant girlfriend's
belly with a miniature baseball bat until she miscarried nearly a year ago.
