days or so the coverage of shock-jock Don Imus's disgusting outburst
againsg African-American sthletes has been omnipresent. YET IT WAS ONLY A
FEW MOMENTS AGO THAT I FIRST HEARD OF THE MEXICAN RECONQUISTA'S UNPROVOKED
USE OF AN UGLY EPITHET AGAINST THE ITALIAN-BORN (AND *LEGAL*)IMMIGRANTS OF
AN ITALIAN-AMERICAN U.S. SHERIFF.

FOX News (i.e. "The Official Propaganda Organ of the Bush White House")
host Shepard Smith did not call the user of the slur on it (quite the
contrary, from what I've read of the incident) nor has this incident
apparently garnered 1/1000th of the coverage which the Imus has.

This is an example of the insanity, deceitfulness and over-the-top
hypocristy of the political correctness which infects our society.
