Object: No way to find work in USA with so many illegal immigrants
I am 28 and a graduate of The American School in Paris who grew up in
the forests of Connecticut, now living in Virginia and working in DC.
The entire data collection and dissemination process in France [and
Germany and Italy, etc.] is much more balanced and reliable and
objective in Europe than here in the U.S., regarding unemployed
citizens and immigrant incomes.
Where there is national health care everybody has a national ID number
and these numbers can be tracked to see just how much a person is
working, one hour per week, two weeks per year, 20 hours per week, 35
hours per week, or 80 hours per week. There are no doctored surveys
or polls or quasi-governmental databases.
Most university education was free in Europe also, again, associated
with one's national ID number. Soon in Europe they will have to pay
tuition due to the recent global economic downturn due to the U.S. war
on Iraq and the lack of focus on New Deal style innovations created
out of Washington -- that the rest of the world awaits as much as the
millions upon millions of unemployed in the U.S.
My question, because I intend to open a useful and helpful and
benevolent temp agency with a loan from my parents to employ people
something like a la Peace Corps-style, albeit here at home, i.e. to
put talented and/or motivated people into jobs in the U.S. that help
and benefit all, the worker and the community, and it is not always
just a question of money and profits for an invisible CEO that just
perpetuates the ENRONization of America.
How can I fight the temp lobbies in Washington just over the Potomoc
River in order to survive in this needed new strategy to fight
unemployment in the US and block the disenfranchisement of the lower
and middle classes from a human and humane and affordable life on
earth?
The Dept. of Labor is under close monitoring and the heavy influence
of the Dept. of Homeland Security, and I don't trust these 5% and 6%
unemployment figures that are based on quasi home surveys done by
non-objective consumer agencies that count a person who temped one
hour in one year as "gainfully employed" and not as "unemployed", and
which disregard the millions upon millions of hopeless job seekers
that have been prostrating themselves before Human Resource managers
for over a year or two and still cannot get a job even two or three
social and/or educational levels below their former positions, so they
have just given up and are spiritually preparing themselves for
homelessness, because one does not want to be flung onto the streets
without having the right mental "survivor" attitude. The next step is
insurrection, riots and revolution. Remember when the Romanian masses
tore apart leg and limb the bodies of their dictator and his wife,
Ceascescu?
How can I kick off my new employment agency in a hall of mirrors such
as this?
Please advise or please comfort me so that I do not give up this idea.

America needs to lock its borders down. The reason this hasn't been done yet
is because the "slave labor lobby" has the Democrats and Republicans in
their corporate hip pocket.
If they can keep illegal, slave labor pouring over the border then they will
be successful in denying legal American workers any bargaining rights.

Thank you Krusty.
I feel deeply for the 20% to 22% of unemployed, partially employed, and
part time underemployed in the USA.
Most of the Reservists who joined up after knowing they would have to
kill Iraqi civilians did so just to get out of the dog house and find a
job when WalMart would not hire them, nor Home Depot, for the major
companies have been violently downsizing for over five years now, and
GM just crushed the jobs of many of us the other day.
It is hard to read a newspaper without so many major stories of
slashing layoffs during hard times.
I have not seen a WE ARE HIRING ad or TV campaign or Billboard on a
highway for a long long time.
GW is not honoring the lost medical care of the Reservists who lost
their benefits for their families when their term wss willy nilly
extended.
Just think of the explosion of unemployed if there was not a war!
Well, war is the wrong term, a military escapade for oil and our
control and domination of middle eastern territories, just like the
Israelis.
It is sad to see nice girls holding automatic weapons in childrens and
grandmothers faces in US uniform in Iraq, just like the Israeli Army
has been exploiting its women for decades.
Have we become just a small mirror of Israel? Where is our pride?
Please email me with your Peace Corps type temp agency investment
ideas.
I will help.
By the way, the thousands of corners where illegal immigrants can get
good paying jobs, and send their illegal kids to school for free
[overcrowding], and get free health care that is lacking for 40% of
Americans [try to get free health care in an emergency room if you are
not an illegal immigrant, go ahead ... try it big mouths], ... the
hacienda bosses that have drivers go and pick up the illegal workers
will NOT hire a legal resident or an unemployed nurse or school teacher
or word processor or former automobile factory employee, they want only
the tax free, debt free, health care free, and responsibility free
illegal ... *****, if one dies on the job all one has to do is say
"adios".
The idiots on the usenet who post negative comments to the real issues
plaguing America are obviously not holding down a meaningful job or
they would not be posting such nonsense every minute of the day ... or
if working, they should be replaced by an illegal immigrant who does
not ***** around on the boss's time all day.
Good luck to you and the 80 million underemployed.
God bless.

Illegal immigration is the issue that will bring the lefties and righties of
this country together.
Even the liberal/Democrat types realize it's destroying America. I'm a
staunch conservative and I'm so ***** at Bush about this I could spit.
I'm sorry I voted for him on Nov 2.
Hang in there. Things will change.

I am Condi Rice's twin, Condi Ho Lice, and we both will make sure that
GW gets all the breaks and not the 100,000,000 ***** out of luck
struggling and shriveling and starving and shaking under our thumb.
Keep your back to the wall so we can run you through --- just like the

Seems to me that you want to live in a socialist society. If so, the
perhaps you should consider moving back to France. Espeecially since
you thinthink that things are so much better there. It is interesting
that you find a way to blame the US for economic problems Europe.
Economic problems which you attribute to the war in Iraq yet were
festering long before the war started.
